The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has condemned the demolition of the structure lodging the Fresh FM in Ibadan by the Oyo State Government. The Director-General of NBC, Ishaq Midibbo-Kawu, who addressed the News Agency of Nigeria said the destruction was a troubling improvement and did not say favorable things about the state government.

Modibo-Kawu said: “The development is worrisome because for all it is worth, the broadcast outfits are playing a big role in reducing unemployment, especially in this situation where many young Nigerians are idle. If NBC had spoken or cried out earlier,maybe the governor wouldn't have demolished the music house...too late to cry.

The radio station was on the process of re validation of its papers, so I am just surprised the fm station was still demolished. This government has no respect for the rule of law.
