depending on what side i look at it from, it was either hell or mad fun esp camp. terrible living conditions, actually left a job to go serve so it was a cruel shock, but then i cant remember a more carefree 3weeks!, always high on something, no inhibitions, plenty fruitless toasting etc etc

posting, cant decide which was more annoying, the school in the "town" village, or its stark illiterate students who were too scared to drop the veils or scarves and give u some sugar. plus the world"s dumbest Local Inspector, redefined the word local! blocked my 3 months allawii. terrible on the whole

Owerri, Imo state 2006/2007 , orientation camp in one village called Umudi in Nkwerre L.G.A. was one of the worst experiences of my life , how I came out sane, is only God that can say, and I thank him for that miracle.




I also served at Owerri,imo state 2006/2007 Batch B and i can never forget my experience at UMUDI village (orientation camp), Gosh Umudi village was like hell on earth and stayed in an uncompleted building (upstairs) & d whole place was smelling of goat shit.

Batch B 2010

In the early 90s, serving in Lagos was the "in thing". So getting posted to Lagos was near impossible. A first year guy came to us and said "give me your names if you want to serve in Lagos". Everybody laughed. But some of us including myself decided to give him a try.

When the list came out - surprise, surprise - we were all posted to Lagos. Camp was at Iyana Ipaje. Everything was fine except the soldiers waking everybody up at 5 am with all sorts of noise making instruments.

Served @ idah lga kogi state 09/10 batch B. No light no water,infact no roads.its a cul-de-sac. village full of political thuggery,courtesy-less people.U Cant eat goat meat cos the goats there r meant 4 rituals.few xtians,more muslims n much more idol worshippers!

Lagos 1997/98 I did my orinetation in Iseyin, oyo state because Lagos camp was overcrowded. The best part was the orientation, otherwise serving in lagos I didnt even know I was serving.

presently serving in yobe state with Tandro system limited in Damaturu, i enjoyed fika camp cos is Batch Cbest with full experience. Batch C 2009/2010.

Chei mehn, i served in Ekiti state, ILORO community high school-Ijero LGA.2004/2005 batch b, Mehn as an engineer, i thought chemistry,physics, maths ss2 & ss3, but state alawi is just #1000 mehn just 1k, the only company in the state is SCHOOLS, but the people are very very nice. It was a worthwhile experience sha,
