Finallllĺlllllyyyyyy....this is what ive been waiting to hear. Why is nobody talking about restructuring. Destroy all the pipelines. Let them restructure. Imagine Maliam using our oyei to feed their useless population then closing every opportunity for making money by hardworking educated youths. I can leave this country but why should I do so because of some retrogressive people. |

Anyone think it's a bit weird how there was a post about "Restructuring" on Nairaland, I believe on Saturday and now the Militants are asking for Restructuring again from the FG. I know those guys are on this website 1 Like |

unohbethel: This sounds good.Niger Delta can really do this if they won't be swayed by money that is surely to come in torrents. The jugular vein of Nigeria lies in their hands.Restructuring will solve more than 2/3 of Nigeria's problem. The way things are now, only the Core North is against restructuring. It can only affect them negatively only if they are lazy which I believe they are not. |

Let me add another angle ,Niger delta militant can fight for "any just cause",but be careful not to destroy ur land further with oil spillage, cos after oil dries out,ur land mit not be habitable anymore. I care more for the environment than the politics. |
Re: Restructure Or We Resume Attacks - Militants Tell FG by kunlesmiles(m): 9:51am On Aug 27, 2018 |
revolt:I support restructuring, but say no to pipeline vandalization, cos years from now, those communities might not av a land to call there own. Any solution without causing harm to the environment is welcomed. |

Wiseandtrue:One of the reasons the FG is against restructuring is because they would no longer be able to have total control of the wealth of the country, especially that of the south-south which is crude oil. That shows that they'LL are in govt not for the interest of the country, but for personal selfish interest. 2 Likes |

Afriifa: benben1000: ...and you guys believe militancy in Niger Delta is setting entire Nigeria backward? Hell No! Ask Lagos and other evolving states in the West, Central and North. Militancy only set the Niger Delta region backward. No reasonable investor will choose the region to invest upon the rich natural resources in that region. Let keep subscribing to albatross - the bane of eastern development and growth while other regions keep improving and creating jobs for you thereby taxing you from the peanut they pay you for their own development. SMH to reasons by some Nigerians. |
