We have been seeing their fake GDP report. What GDP are they talking about when they have mortgaged Nigeria by borrowing 22trillion? They have borrowed 22.7 trillion more than PDP. They have sold our future. We know some paid APC followers on this forum. But to us neutrals why are we letting sentiments and religion affiliation derail our country. They have ruined this country. They said OBJ spent 16billion on power, they themselves have spent more than 45billion, yet we still dont have light. I wonder what is wrong with our brains in this country. Can't you see the evil going on? Nigeria will be paying debt for the next 50 years. Lastly, remember this evil corrupt OBJ cleared our foreign debt. 1 Like |

I don't bother about this kind of thing because there will always be tomorrow. Nobody will be in power forever. If he likes he can misuse power but what I can assure him is that a day will come when he will be at the receiving end of what he created. |

Zendinho:My message was passed in English language. There is a limitation to rule of law both in Nigeria Constitution and outside world. If Skeka is arrested today, will you clamour for his bail? Because, the law says, every suspect is entitled to a bail? When America killed Osama Bin Laden , nobody talked of rule of law. Any individual or a group that is a threat to National unity or Security. The rule of law is suspended. 2 Likes |

NgeneUkwenu:Why are you so stupid? Did you trade your conscience for something? Hope what it is will last you for a life time? How can any normal person say National interest is above rule of law. Is that an excuse to victimise people and claim it's National interest. We know Buhari usually acts based on his personal interest, not National interest. 2 Likes |

WITHOUT THE COUNTRY THERE WILL NOT BE RULE OF LAW. AND WITHOUT RULE OF LAW THE COUNTRY CAN STILL EXIST. SO THE INTEREST OF THE COUNTRY COMES FIRST WERE EVER THERE IS CLASH BETWEEN THE NATIONAL INTREST AND THE RULE OF LAW. GLOBALLY ITS THE COUNTRY INTEREST FIRST BEFORE ANY THING THE COUNTRY CAN FREEZE ONE PERSON OR GROUP OF PEOPLE TO SAVE THE NATION IF THE PERSON OR PEOPLE CONSIGNED WANT TO HIDE BEHIND THE RULE OF LAW AND DESTROY. LIKE IN THE CASE OF THE TALIBANS AND BIN LADEN WERE THE UNITED STATES BY PASSED RULE OF LAW AND FREEZE THE CAPTURED TALIBANS FOR ALMOST FIFTEEN YEARS TO SAVE AMERICA FROM MORE ATTACKS. No be these rule of law wey flaws plenty like kilode, and also note that it favours the big shots in most cases. Buhari sef, must he say everything in his mind? Abegi, make he get to work Jere and stop creating unnecessary and irrelevant chaos. Why he go go NBA dey talk that thing. Lawyers wey dey boil as their illegal fees no dey to roll again like that... Do like an elderly person, oro o ki n mi in ikun agba! (I.e. words don't stumble in the stomach of the elders). But decisive actions take place. #weknowthem |

No government will put the rule of law above national interest (national security). That's why we remand criminals yet convicted. That's why I support the freezing of assets of corrupt people under investigation/prosecution. Fighting our myriads of problems requires structures and strong policies. This lifeless cow appears to have more foresight than y'all. |

Even in advance democracy, the national security supersedes the rule of law. Under which rule of law was Osama Bin Laden Murdered? CIA published names of assumed terrorists and place bounty on their head to get them dead or alive without referring to any rule of law. Under which rule of law were Guatanamo (and several others) inmates incarcerated? Obama campaigned that he was going to close down Guatanamo bay but was treated with the reality by the service chiefs when he assumed office. Under which rule of law did Mossad (Israeli secret forces) and CIA etc carry out several extrajudicial killings? Killing nuclear scientist, assumed terrorists, political leaders etc. Under which rule of law did Western nations use in causing unrest and usurping powers in other nations? Not every issue of national import can be discuss in the court room and that's why every nation have their CLASSIFIED INFORMATION. There are still 20th century informations that are still classified in the US. It takes more than being a Mr Nice Guy to rule a nation. I know it'll be very hard to draw the middle line between supremacy of the national interest and dictatorship, that's the reason why we need to elect a president with good antecedents that we can trust with several clandestine decision. 1 Like |

Afamed: That's why Nigeria is a shithole. Who interprets national interest? Is it not the laws and constitution that stipulates what is in national interest? Do you realise the danger of this assertion? Buhari will suspend rule of law because of what he believes is national interest without recourse to the constitution and the courts for proper interpretation and clarification. A list of people who did just that includes Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, etc. Google properly o. 1 Like |

HomeOfMe:do not loose hope even buhari has his fears that is why he came up with the latest gimmick of national security being greater than the rule of law so that he can go on trampling the rights of perceived opponents. Inec being put in the tyrant pocket will be fought headlong and the legislature seems to be the last hope which is why they are fighting effortlessly to get saraki out of the way .hopefully inec wings will be clipped before the election. 2 Likes |

Jeezuzpick: It's subject to interpretation of the courts in this case the Supreme Court by a competent judge. We don't cry foul when laws and interpretations impact commoners but we're always quick to join the bandwagon to Wail when the plundering elites are encumbered. |

Jeezuzpick:I have given a Supreme court verdict to you. Kindly goggle it and get more information about it. Did America take Osama Bin Laden to any court? There are cases, like the President said. If the Person involved is a National threat, the issue of rule of Law definitely will be suspended. Will you seek for any bail for Skeka, today, if he's arrested despite the law says, a suspect is entitled to a bail? |
