Come on. Most people casting aspersions on Jang know quite little about how well he performed. Jang gave Plateau state the appearance it has today, especially Jos.

He did quite well, even in his second term.

I admire his boldness in coming out to run.
He represents the minority of Nigerians.
Some think presidency is only restricted for those from big tribes.
The presidency is zoned to the North. North is not only Hausa fulani na.

Out of the twelve candidates that have declared intrest to run for presidency in PDP, only Jang and Saraki are from middle belt and out of these 12 only Jang is a Christian.

The antecedents of Jang speaks for him.
After JD Gomwalk and Solomon Lar, he is the best governor plateau has ever had.
All the new roads you see in Jos today were all done by him.
Of course you won't compare his records with Governors in Rivers and Lagos. But he did the best that could be done with his peanut shoe string budget.
He has left a shoe that is too big to be filled in the state and that is why everyone is dissatisfied with the present Governor in Jos today.

I'm happy for Jang.
I am not his spokesman so I don't know how to hype him.
But what excites me most about his candidature is that he is making a statement. Not that I expect him to win. But atleast he made a statement for the middle belt. A statement that we middle belterns are Nigerians. A statement that a middle belter can one day be president of Nigeria.

For u to say that all the new road u see today in plateau state were constructed by Jang is a lie.
Federal Low cost, rantya-rafiki road,Secretariat-marraba jama'a completed by lalong. What about the one in angwan rogo that was constructed by lalong and many more?
Jang left a debt/liabilities about of 228 billion on the plateau with a backlog of 6-8 months salary arrears depending on ministry/mda. Dariye left a debt of about 18billion and 12 months salary arrears despite Paris club deduction. He was able to construct barking ladi- bokkos road,kerang-ampang&mangun road,kande-shimankar road,mangu-gindiri road, etc. Constructed plateau state university, fertilizer blending plant etc.
Lalong have almost clear all the mess created by his predecessors. I speak on a position of authority.
Forget the nepotistic/bigoted/tribalistic aspects of Jang. I respect him as an elder statesman but I can't recommend him for the topmost job in the country.
I love plateau, middle belt and Nigeria.

The power to restructure Nigeria lies with the National Assembly. Don't fall mugu to Atiku political campaign.

The credibility of those two I referred to is in doubt. You're entitled to your opinion but for the sake of posterity we should not compromise quality standards with respect to good governance. Saraki & Atiku are criminals that should be behind bars for long sentences.

Stop saying rubbish. Is Jang also the one responsible for religious crisis in Kaduna & Taraba? And other religious killings that have happened in the north?

Jang has a lot of good records and carried out numerous projects while he was governor of Plateau state.
Many plateau people only dislike him because he promoted tribalism and owed salaries. Otherwise he embarked on projects.
