A minister stopped a wedding taking place in Zimbabwe because of the seductive way a bridesmaid and groomsman were dancing during the ceremony.



The wedding between Emmerson and Yvonne was underway and it was time for the bridal train to usher in the bride and groom with a dance. During the dance, one of the bridesmaids stepped forward with one groomsman and as they danced the bridesmaid twerked while the groomsman ground his hips against hers.



The minister was angered by the sight and asked the DJ to stop the music. He then proceeded to admonish the wedding guests, saying:

The dances that are happening here parents and elder you are all watching and when they finish twerking they want to be intimate, they are not brides. Don’t entertain these things saying it is today’s generation, you are promoting immorality in church, we may rejoice but when they leave they want to be intimate, this is nonsense at the end of the day you are going to have pregnancies that’s why we implore elders to monitor rehearsals to see if moral behavior is taking place.

The pastor said the inconvenient truth that most charlatan pastors here can't say.

Here, once they give opening prayer, the pastor would open one eye and be calculating number of people to drop offering.

Very very few Pastors are actually following what Christ said.

Criticism as it may come on this pastor, he has a standard he is following. The couple could have gone on to have a court wedding and reception where there won't be any law on their dance style. But church is church for God's sake, minus sons of Belial ready to make the church another club.

A good reason why many Africans ptrfer getting married in more civilized western nations. They brought the religion to us in Africa, now the African pastors act like they worship something beyond human comprehension. No sane pastor in a civilized economy would distrupt some marriage over some dance moves. If I was the groom, I'll just walk up to that pastor and slap him right in front of everyone. Let's meet in either heaven or hell for judgment.
