Why is this man trying to appeal to some enslaved, irrelevant, daft gorilla descendants from a particular landlocked region? It's not necessary. They're not important; they're extremely irrelevant! 2 Likes |

yet some folks of this generation who don't have the patience to read up history will not understand why igbos have long standing and genuine reasons to hold a grudge against the northern establishment who have held Nigeria down with their numbers with the help of their southern collaborators. Whether this fellow is saying the truth now for political reasons or not,the fact still remains that the reversal of the injustice being perpetrated against the igbos politically since after the war remains the only hope for the redemption and growth of Nigeria, the earlier other regions realized this, the better for us all 3 Likes |

Neoteny: An even better approach would be for all you 'saints' and 'angels' to come together and speak with one voice in supporting Biafra (whatever its configuration), so you can be rid of those 'criminal Igbos' for good, keep one Nigeria to yourselves, and show the world just how a crime-free society should look like! 2 Likes |

Xander85: Charity begins at home The onus is for Biafrans to prove they can live in a functional society devoid of their criminal antics. We wouldn't want to be neighbors with a rogue nation full if devious crooks, we'd rather keep a close eye and hope you all evolve from your genetic disposition towards reckless acquisitionism at all costs. 1 Like |

Neoteny: I advocate that they be let go. It cannot work between igbos and other Nigerians. We just don’t like igbos and there is no need keeping them around. I am a yoruba man and I think I speak the minds of countless number of Yorubas. And I am sure you are hausa but you want to keep the igbos around? Why? I support a referendum for the 5 igbo speaking states to determine if they want to remain in Nigeria. What the North doesn’t understand is that you can’t keep a large criminal tribe like the igbos marginalized without engendering a national security threat. Nigeria must either be restructured along geographical lines or you let the igbos go. It is trite that other Nigerians cannot vote an Igbo for President so why keep them in the nation? 1 Like |
Re: How Azikiwe, Ekwueme Were Denied Presidency – Bafarawa by Neoteny(m): 1:17pm On Sep 05, 2018 |
resurgent2019: Igboes are a danger only to themselves, as the civil war made quite clear. No reasonable nation allows anyone to just wake up one day and say they want to just go their way. And if a referendum is to be held on the basis of Nigeria's territorial integrity, everyone has the right to a vote to either diminish the physical attributes of the country, or keep the geography intact, in spite of igboe malcontent. So, I have the right to demand that my country is kept whole. And since we're more in number than 5 states, it'd be a waste of resources to venture on a foolish and futile referendum. And as for your restructuring, well.... Nigeria was operating a regional geopolitical system. Guess who attacked and ruined it in the 1960s? Igboes. The perennial malcontents. Your Ironsi destroyed the old regional system and paved the way for the modern federal structure. So. Igboes can't have their cake and eat it. |

Neoteny: I know you are Hausa given your ideology but I dare say you are sitting on a keg of powder. The North cannot hold down to heavy weight Nigerian tribes. We yorubas are increasingly getting fed up with the present structure. It is only this APC pact between Tinubu and Buhari that is holding Nigeria in place. How long can you hold the igbos down politically? The time is right to let them go or restructure the nation. Nigeria doesn’t have another 20 years to survive if this present structure is maintained. All it will take for the nation to collapse if the the SS militants to join the SE in their rabble rousing agitation. The North cannot defeat us all, the nation is already agitated. We know igbos are hated across board—nationwide—but they have a point in asking to be set free or for the nation to be restructured along regional lines. It seems the only language Hausas recognize is violence? |

resurgent2019: I can swear you cannot properly articulate what restructuring means in the Nigerian context All you do is parrot a political buzzword that means different things to different people. You talk referendum for self determination, in the very next sentence you mention restructuring. You people cannot even settle on one grouse. |
