The word entrepreneur is one of the most misused words in the world today. Many a people claim carelessly this title without taking time to know what it really means. In this article, I’m going to tell you who an entrepreneur is.

To begin with, philosophy tells us that the best way to define something is to first define what it is not. In alignment with this, permit me to tell you what an entrepreneur is not. An entrepreneur is not someone who sells rice and beans down the street.

It is an error to call someone who opens new shop an entrepreneur. It is not all about setting up a new business as well.

An entrepreneur is someone who invests in a new product or idea with the aim of making profit.

Entrepreneurs are free thinkers (some call them dreamers). They are people who always think beyond the moment and look for better, unique or more efficient ways to do things. they are those who think out of the box.

Entrepreneurs do not think like a worker bees. they are problem solvers. They look for ways to do things that will lead them from dream to an idea to fulfill the dream. In other words, they are creative. Entrepreneurs are innovative in their approach to change.

They subscribe to the definition of insanity that says. ‘insanity is continuing to do the same things you have always done, in the same you have always done them and expect different results’.

Entrepreneurs are opportunity seekers.....................
