Ugosample:

what you said proves that the youths indeed are not ready

those already there will not give way
they MUST BE DISLODGED
gypsey:
If Nigerian youths are waiting for the Old cargos to give way, then they are not ready yet.

what they need to do is to take power BYFORCE! from the old cargos.
anayolity:

Sit trust me we are not ready a single bit..... We are the coldest , gullible youths in the whole world!
Being a President or governor is not just about sitting in the office to sign papers and pay salaries. A 21st century leader should have creative ideas and policies that will enable the state to catch up with the changing world. We are living in the Creativity Age. We don't need old leaders that will rule us with Stone Age ideas.
Leading a country like Nigeria requires a lot of creativity and transparency. As a matter of fact, our youths are more creative and industrious than the elders. If you hear that a Nigerian has achieved anything creative or stupendous, it will surely be a youth. Even though some of our youths are channelling their creative tendencies into unproductive and fraudulent Ventures, the truth still remains that our elders cannot match the youths in creativity and even transparency.
But the problem is that our elders already knows this, that's why they'll never give us the opportunity. They know that some youths in this country knows and have what it takes to transform the fortune of Nigeria, so they are afraid to give us the chance.
You can't take power from them by force, except you are transferring the power from one elder to the other. The kind of democracy we have in Nigeria doesn't permit a youth to win election when the elders are still desperate to rule. The elders are the incumbents, they have all the power, the money, the forces, the influence etc. They've already created severe hunger and poverty in the land so that during election, they can easily distribute the money they have to those who don't have in order to buy their power and conscience. Even the election umpires were appointed by the elders, so you can see why it is almost impossible for a youth to take power from them. For now, the best the youths can do is to take power by force from one elder and give it to another elder.
Right now, all the major opponents of Buhari are elders... Meaning that if we can succeed in taking power away from buhari, we will only be giving it to another elder.
Let's face this question: When the major political parties are about to nominate candidates for President, governor and other top positions, How many youths are part of the delegates to vote in the nomination? But once they finish selecting the elders as flag bearers, they will start urging the youths to get their PVC so that they can vote for people they didn't participate in selecting. This is how our political settings favours only the elders, so the truth remain that we are ready, but until the elders decide to give way, we'll never rule.

%100000 Correct, in that case and going by your true and sensible comments above, the youths will never ever ever ever get near power in Nigeria. Hence the suggestion of REVOLUTION! and rule the country ourselves, by handing over to a youthful president.

I am of the opinion that many (most) Nigerian youths who want to see a great Nigeria can hardly give an articulated discription of what a good nation should look like neither can they lay out a detailed plan on achieving a successful nation. It is easy to see the level of emptiness of the Nigerian youth by their posts on the social media, hardly can one grasp any depth of thought by scrolling through feeds on Facebook or Twitter if not for their usual 'epic responses'. As the popular saying goes, 'a people get the leaders they deserve'. Youths must position themselves in pedestal of opportunity by acquiring relevant literacy in modern education, human skills, leadership skills and deep sense of purpose (no one can reside on Instagram and expect to receive a letter to become a CEO of any organization), embrace the hardship involved in self development but do not conform to life of hardship, make sacrifices by volunteering to do meaningful projects or groups. Lastly, register a business today, no matter how small and commit to it. As for the present times, our youths are not ready to lead this nation.
You made a good submission but your conclusion is wrong.
The leaders of any nation are usually a very tiny percentage of the population.
Even if an average youth can't plan nor describe the attributes of a great nation, there surely are some
youths(the outliers) who can.

My candid advice for any youth who want to run for President should pls keep his/her money and put it into something else because if he/she try’s and run against PMB,he/she should be ready to face EFCC if PMB win and retain the presidency...Gbam!!!

They are not because they don't believe in anybody that makes attempt, yet the wont to come out with their own ideas. Majority of them are not ready to support any youth, but old recycled grandfather's.
