monlawal: I don't need to find out the retail price since the government will be getting it way cheaper than an average retailer because I believe with such an amount involved they would buy at wholesale price directly from the factory and don't tell me the state house abuja will pay custom and excise duty at the port because they would definitely be issued an import waiver. However going by your narrative if we are to allow this administration another term in office then state house abuja would have spent over 1 billion naira just to import tires alone for a period of 8years if they keep splurging at the rate of 285 million naira every 2 years. Last time I checked the the average life span of a news tire is 6 years depending on mileage, while tire manufacturers such as Continental and Michelin say a tire can last up to 10 years, provided you get annual tire inspections after the fifth year. So my dear your narrative doesn't make any sense whatsoever. |
