Hoodbilonia:what if network issues, what if the person doesn't have cash?? The fact that fee are using it to scam doesn't make the process less profound. You might be a small business man but for stuffs worth over 2-300k u don't expect someone to bring u cash unless u want hungry 3 Likes |

It might probably not be a scam, i have been in the same situation, i bought goods worth five thousand naira that very day and transferred to the seller in which i was debited but the seller was not credited, i waited for an hour yet the seller was not credited. It resulted into argument since it was on Sunday and it was getting late i didn't go with the good. I and the seller had to go to my bank, i was told the transaction was successful getting to his own bank he wasn't credited. It took me a week before i got a reversal from the seller bank. It actually hang in the seller bank without him being credited. Our bank service nowadays spoil buyer and seller relationships at times. 4 Likes |

If I don't know your home or shop, I don't accept bank transfers. At most, I must confirm the payment (showing my updated balance) before I release my goods. |

toluxa1: I bought Tecno WX3 Pro last week and I did transfer. And while the shop owner said that he was waiting for the credit alert, I told one of his sales boys and girls who was attending to me that her boss was making mistake. That he shouldn't rely on credit alert but to login into his account and confirm the transaction. The girl was looking at me like "who is this man"? 3 Likes |

Mankosi: Your case is very different. Did the recipient of your transfer received an alert that their account has been credited? In case of fraud, the recipient receive fake alert but there is no credit to their account. 3 Likes |

For those of you transacting or those of you into business After every transfer stand up from your comfort zone and go to the nearest ATM and check your balance Better still check your balance in your phone by dailing the bank code Banking have been made very easy that you don't have to queue in the bank to get their services |

is he a learning, a business man you dont use internet banking or mobile app to confirm alert, you are waiting for credit alert... if i trf to you i receive debit, and you did not receive credit alert. "problem tie niyen" if you receive credit alert, and i debit alert and i walk away without testing my product before leaving. "problem temi niyen" and we both receive credit and debit alert, and the product was delivered, and was not up to my taste and standard. "problem gbogbo wa niyen" 1 Like |
