dragnet:Hello, i paid him for this device while its still in transit, I asked him over and over hope there are no locks on this device, network, icloud etc? And he assured me there were none. Device came in, he told me device was icloud locked, He said he will unlock it and that it wouldnt take time, so i exercised Patience, i bought that phone for a client and the person was feeling i defrauded her so i asked the seller to send me the phone down to enugu to show her (cos she was making remarks about obtaining under false pretence) she saw the device and i explained all that happened to her. I sent the device afterwards back to the seller and has been in his custody since then. The reason i asked him to send to enugu is for my client to see that all i was telling her was true cos she insisted i took her money and was lying to her. 4 Likes |

anochuks08: I presumed that would've been the reason you requested him to send it, recall I said I was penning my observations from comments so far. I was merely pointing out that most people missed that part, they've been reading it like you weren't informed even after the phone landed till you had it with you. 2 Likes |

Viewing since all these while and watching the judges in the house without thinking what if i was the one? Let's learn to judge constructively. These phones from USA, na we buyers dey see things. Even the one you buy on eBay, that you are privileged to ask seller questions, he fit land naija make he be another thing. Dragnet has said it all. Thanks boss for your constructive reasoning. Abeg, this thread should be locked as matter done settle so as to avoid giving room to prolonged judgments that will be coming from other oga dem judges that haven't closed from work yet. Twinskenny, take heart. Shit happens! May God greatly replenish your loss. 2 Likes 1 Share |

itiswellandwell:Please stop all these whining, I sell devices too and i ve been bringing items from US for many years now. Please don't come with that. There is a clear distinction when a business is gone bad and a seller is trying to resolve it and when he is taking you for a ride. 1 Like |
Re: RESOLVED by itiswellandwell: 9:53pm On Sep 14, 2018 |
anochuks08: They can close it and when it's the balance payment said date and he doesn't pay, you can open another thread and make reference to this one. Simple! |

I have had several deals with twinsKenny and I can say categorically that he is not a scam. It is sad things turned out this way. I was also a victim of this, sadly we have suffered losses in business either due to impatience during pick up or incorrect information. Am not sure he will be aware that the phone was locked and will still buy the phone or not inform you before it arrives. God will replenish you Bro! 1 Like |

anochuks08: I understand you bro, calm down. Am trying to make things easy for you too. See, more judges are still on the way. Before you know it, they will change the matter, twist the matter and the matter go come tire you. Only if you can ignore and go rest. Sorry for the inconvenience caused too. |

sirlop: Just what I was saying earlier. People wey done get beef with op will use this opportunity come call am mumu, people wey done get beef with twinskenny will come and use this opportunity to call him names after its glaring obvious that the issue has been resolved. @dragnet, kindly help us lock this thread since issue has been resolved. When balance payment said date comes and he isn't paid, op can open another thread for that and make reference to this. |
Re: RESOLVED by dragnet: 10:22pm On Sep 14, 2018 |
miib:Like I said earlier, people just want to post, they read and may not even comprehend a thing. I clearly stated that I was making an observation and not making comments on the whole scenario, especially when the matter is almost being resolved. Another fallacy you committed, that he put it here doesn't automatically translate to getting something out of it, you can only take what you're given either you turn heaven and earth inside out. #just_correcting _your_perception 1 Like |

Quite funny that even yahoo boys would come here and call people scam, just to add a "I'm clean" tag to their nairaland posts. #just_passing 2 Likes |

anochuks08:The thread would only be closed or thrashed depending on your request and that's if it qualifies, another reason it may be closed would be due to the posts of some of our "high court judges". 2 Likes |

dragnet: God bless you for tho comment. When something like this happens on Nairaland, it's like we Nigerians have been programmed to bring each other down, to see the downfall of another man / business just makes people happy. Without even trying to understand, you will start hearing scam up and down. It's really disturbing. The buyer has no fault in this. Also, Nobody will buy a Sprint locked iPhone X deliberately knowing its almost impossible to unlock it. Twinskenny TRUSTS Mikky to check the phone for him and reject faulty phones which Mikky didn't do and that's where the problem comes from. This is Oyibo people doing us yahoo yahoo.. I'm very sure Mikky inspects all the gadgets he buys with his own money for resale but is suddenly too busy to help his clients check before picking up. I can't even count my transactions with twinskenny. Too many. I hope you get out of the losses soon. And to the buyer, Anoks, your reaction is understandable considering you're even buying it for someone else. 7 Likes |

I deliberately won't quote anyone here, but for those saying more judges are coming for the seller, rightfully deserved. The onus of due diligence in a sales deal with respect to the conditions of the product lies more on the seller than the buyer. Products are sold 'as it is' that is, as described to the buyer. If after this, the buyer cries foul play then the buyer deserves all the stick. None of the fault is the buyers fault here, yet he is gentleman enough to assist in redeeming the product, take a cut in refund yet the refund is paid in piece meal until he opens a public dispute. Common lets be adults and apply some ethics. Any measures taken by the buyer to get his refund in this case is welcome henceforth and the sticks served the seller rightfully deserved. I will commend the seller for rightfully heeding to encourage peaceful resolution, repair relationships and his public image. 13 Likes |
