People like you refuse to receive sense.

How can the country with the highest GDP in Africa,be the poorest nation on earth?

Nigeria has the highest number of poor people does not translate to being the poorest,it only highlights our very uneven wealth distribution.

Illustration:

Country X with a population of 10million and poverty rate of say 50%, means only 5million are poor.

Nigeria with a population of say 180million and poverty rate of say 50%, means 90million are poor.

This does not mean that Nigeria is poorer than country X

And how did that statistics amount to Nigeria been rich compared to what SOUTH Africans had as private and individual investment. Despite the corruption, Nigeria still remain a very poor country fact don't lie.

Only on paper, the papers giant of Africa. How many hands are touching a $ daily? Not how many people that have million $ should be used to estimate wealth.
How many hands circulate the millions daily?

But right from time imoriver we've always been a rich and wealthy country, but our leaders have always ensured that the people remain extremely poor.

Tragedy of an unfortunate people
angry undecided cry

And Nigeria would have come first if all these thieving leaders have invested their I'll gotten wealth at home here but they always choose to run to Dubai, Europe and America to invest in real estate and what have you.

I strongly believe 90% of South Africans invest their wealth at home, same for the Egyptians.

We have the capacity to be at the top as a nation, but our leaders prefer the capacity for themselves alone not the nation at large.
