I know this thing they pepper you for body but Nigeria isn't an islamic country. We sre constitutionally a secular state. They can wear hijab after school. Hijab isnt part of the uniform

Have you even noticed how none of them are intelligent enough to come up with reasonable points as to why hijab should be allowed in a government school? It is typical of the violent, illiterate and unenlightened muslims. You will never see an intelligent and enlightened muslim supporting something as petty and useless as the hijab being worn in government schools. Only violent, illiterate arabic quran reading dingbats make trouble up and down and dent the image of Islam. As if the hijab will make them to be more intelligent.

Define the word 'intolerance'. If you cannot, then just keep shut and get some more education instead of reading quran, Read books that will open your mind and change your archaic way of reasoning.

How can telling students to wear proper school uniforms be interpreted as intolerance? WTF!

I agree with you. These folks are deluded and there level of reasoning is too primitive and basal. In their unelightened mind, the hijab is a compulsory way their woman must dress and those ones have been brainwashed to believe God requires that from them. it's not my business, each to his own but when we have institutions we need to respect rules and regulations and if there is a religious neutral dress code somewhere it must be enforced. We can't have islamic fundamentalists taking over policy.

Same religion is now affecting the Yorubas to be backward too. Yorubas that use to be great in the past are now like abòkis, while igbos have become the great progressing tribe. Shame on backward religion of piss. Almajiris. Spit.

You must conform to the rules of the institution you are a voluntary member of. If the children and their parents want the hijab so much, they should find another school. In life you can't always have your way and tell people how to run their stuff.

Not surprised you cannot answer the question. You can only do what your brain can carry. Muslims are very tolerant, they are so tolerant that they are bombing almost everywhere in the north. I am guessing you just learnt the word intolerant. But unfortunately, you do not know how to use it as you obviously do not even understand the word.

i can only support this if its a private school.

but even at that, they will force christians to wear hijab or cover their hair by force at any government parastatals in the north. even in secondary schools, christians are forced to cover there hair against their wish. you can imagine christians not having break during easther period.

i have a lecturer who stipulated it as a rule that all hair must be covered in his class regardless of your religion. i made sure his idiotic brain was dragged to the school authorities by simply not complying.

but as i said, i can only support this if its a private school.

Which state and school is that?

This issue is very simple, the students should be allowed to wear their hijab since there is a subsisting and valid Appeal Court Judgment allowing hijab. I understand the view of the principal as I don’t like the fact that Muslims will want to put on hijab in a school funded with the tax dollars of Christians, Muslims and traditionalists. I personally wouldn’t want my children in a class with any girl putting on hijab, it is a security issue given the actions of terrorists professing Islam but what can we do when the Muslims insist on putting on the head scarf?

In the circumstance, I would advice Christian parents who are worried about the safety of their kids to save hard and try and enrol their kids in strictly Christian or secular schools where hijab will be prohibited. That is what I do if I were a parent. For now, muslims are allowed by law to put on their heads scarfs. We should move on to other things and not give that terrorist organization called MURIC the sounding board to espouse their fundamentalist BS!

This issue should be resolved fast and not used by bigots to garner sympathy and votes from their base.
I guess u didn't check the pic b4 commenting. Security precaution they'll say. How can a bomb be hidden under dis short hijabs? If it was d full face veil, it'd have been defendable, but this, what bomb can fit under this that cannot fit under the other gals clothes? M nt muslim BTW but this isnt exactly fair.

The bomb can fit on their neck. Let them wear their hijabs to the mosque. Hijab is not part of the school uniforms. whether they hide bomb under the hijab or not is nobody's business. Wear you hijab when you are out of school. simple. They don't phucking spend all day in school and won't die if they do not wear the useless hijab to school. No wonder they smell terribly.

Yes you said adverts and banners but I also think the Jesus situation applies too.

Don't you also think it's equally demeaning that Blacks worship a white god as their saviour?

Buy honestly, will it hurt any1 if they wear their short hijab? It's what their religion dictates, do not expose certain parts of the body..... its explicit. How different is this act from that of Christians being persecuted elsewhere for following a different creed? There's need for religious tolerance of other faiths. We can't all b Christians r Muslims.

I can't understand where you stand, are you on the side of court verdict or tagging all Muslim young girls using hijab as terrorists because you called MURIC terrorist organization and CAN is what?, because you're too bias by failing toI know the fact that the principal is a Christian fanatic Who is working on the script of CAN to stop Muslim students from using of hijab in public schools which doesn't belong to Christian missionary...

Your fanaticism is very glaring which pictured your heart of being bias by instigating Christian parents against Muslims... I'm very sorry for you because your write up is full of inflammatory statements...

Conclusively, LOVE is the main religion of our creator and without love of one another, there will be continuation of distrust and suspicious against ourselves which is inhumanity against humanity.

Here at Igando primary school, hijab is not allowed. The head teacher and her assistant are Muslims. Infact, the head teacher personally removed a pupil's hijab and asked her to buy the school cap.
