From 1960 to 2018. That is a 58 year period. Nigeria has built nearly 200 universities and has educated over 150 million citizens.

I mean, I just don't understand how our people can be so dumb and thoughtless.

If the whites ruled you for 63 YEARS STRAIGHT, UNINTERRUPTED, and yet at the end of it, you are still needing to build basic infrastructure like roads, schools, hospitals etc, UP TILL TODAY, is that not clear evidence that they MISRULED your country? That they FAILED WOEFULLY?

Do you realise the whites built NOT ONE power plant in Nigeria during their 63 rule? Instead they imported these giant industrial generators to power the areas they were staying at, like Ikoyi, and the various GRAs across the country. The rest of the country was in darkness. They didn't even build a national power grid. Our first dam for generating power was Kainji Dam. It was commissioned in 1964 by the Balewa government.

Yet, our people refer to the era of colonial rule as ''the good old days''.

If that is not the sign of a cursed people, what is?
