By Abdulkabir Olatunji So, like a super spy, I infiltrated the ranks of the average Naija online feminists and found the guide to becoming one: 1. Over-hype yourself and achievements online. 2. Post pictures of yourself that are sexually suggestive. 3. Post generalizations about men that are obviously not accurate. 4. Resort to insults and general bad online behaviour when confronted with this. 5. Rush to the defence of your other colleagues wherever and whenever you find them. 6. Work hard to promote this culture among other young women online. 7. Insult the previous generations and those unborn of any woman/girl that challenges you and your clique. 8. Support any trending craze no matter how nonsensical it is. 9. Send signals of your availability to men that can be best described as irresponsible. 10. Repeat the process again. If you think you are a Nigerian feminist and don’t see yourself in these descriptions, then you are probably not a typical one.
