Pls guys Im using Tekno camon CM phone.
I'm having problem with the storage,
I only have 2pages of apps on my screen. Which are mostly default apps, compared to people who I see there phones with 3 to 4 pages of apps.
Now my phone is always telling me that I don't have much space.,
Despite me setting SD CARD as default storage.
Sometimes it hangs my incoming messages , until I clean cache before they will come in.
Pls who can make help solve this issue.

Run whenever you see a tecno......same thing happened to my coleague and she eventually did factory reset, still shes back to square 1, she took it to their office and was told its virus.
In summary, she sold it and got a samsung and shes happy ever after.

Go to Galleryvault and delete all the poornn
Remove Parallel Space app
Go to camera and make SD card as default storage (forget that you did it under main settings)
Clear WhatsApp backups

Your phone should be back up and running

It is simple. Move all the media files on the phone to the SD card.

That screenshot says you have 11GB on the memory card. Why not move the other files on the phone to the card. It frees up space on the phone.

I have this same problem, in my own case I have 16gb memory card and I set it as my default storage yet this same problem, except I delete some what's app videos on phone I won't be able store anything. So sad

The issues you're facing is compounded by internal memory of the device, it's not large enough to accommodate media files, app operations

So, in addition to the advice above, clear out duplicate pictures, unnecessary ones,videos, songs, generally back them up in the pc and clean up your media memory.
For a 16GB phone, you need to be careful with loading it up.

* Get a 32GB SD card. (that will do you lots of good)

** Make SD card default storage for camera, media
downloads

* Always note for future reference, it's always better to have a 32GB, 64GB, .. phone.

You should note this. The way Android is now, files will mainly store directly to your phone. Except you manually move them to the SD card. Or you can format the SD card as internal storage. It will merge with the phone memory. The screenshot shows that you still have enough space on your SD card. Move all media files to it.

So yestady I read online that from Android 6.0 os upwards, u can't move a file.
I have deleted 3 big apps on my phone still the problem remains the same.

Yes! You can't move the applications to your SD card but you can move your media files (pictures, music and videos) plus other documents to your SD card....


What to do?...Go to your File Manager and try moving your Media Files (Pictures, Music and Videos) to your SD card.

Backup everything on your Sd card first.

You cannot move apps. But u can move media files. Go to file manager and move from phone to sd card. Long press on the files u want to copy and cut instead. Paste into SD card.

i doubt you can move apps but you should be able to move pictures and movies.

I don't know when this started but the Samsung I was using last year, I moved all 3rd party apps i downloaded to memory card..

This thing is frustrating me.
I have nothing much on my phone if u are talking about media, just few songs less around 10 and all my pics are my SD card.

I clear junk everytime ,but it's just Greenup few mb.
The main problem I'm having is chrome.
It has around 5gb of data according to the done, and if I clear them in going to lose a lot of things I'm doing online

Sorry for that. U still cannot move your media files? Not apps. Music, videos and pictures can be moved.

wow. Use your Phone Master app to clear cache data and any unwanted files that may be on the phone.

I would advise you take your phone to the nearest Tecno Carlcare in your area so an expert can help look into it.
