n a report released by the Heritage Foundation which is a think-tank based in Washington, Nigeria’s government is the 2nd worst in terms of integrity. It only did better than Venezuala in the Index of Economic Freedom for 2018 which takes into consideration the following quantitative and qualitative factors which RE grouped into four “broad categories, or pillars, of economic freedom”:

Rule of Law (property rights, government integrity, judicial effectiveness)
Government Size (government spending, tax burden, fiscal health)
Regulatory Efficiency (business freedom, labor freedom, monetary freedom)
Open Markets (trade freedom, investment freedom, financial freedom)

Hong Kong comes first with a score of 90.2, Singapore is second with a score of 88.8 and New Zealand, third, with score of 84.2.

Next are the countries that did worst on the index:

1. Venezuela: 7.5

2. Nigeria: 14.4

3. Cambodia: 17.7

4. Madagascar: 17.8

5. Somalia: 17.8

6. Angola: 18.9

7. Zimbabwe: 18.9

8. Lebanon: 20.2

9. Bangladesh: 21.2

10. Sudan: 21.4

The government of President Muhammadu Buhari insists it is focused on fighting corruption, providing security and improving the economy. This news might come as a blow to it as it tries to change the perception of Nigeria.

This is not a Buhari thing, Nigeria was in a mess right from way before. Buhari governmemt also added to it.The country is too complex to manage, black people are hard to govern and black people are not as skilled in governance,management or maintenance as other race. Despite these weakness here we have the highest concentration of blacks in the world (Nigeria) and you think one man can govern successfully. We got to find a way out , weather restrucstruing, regionalism or create 3 or 4 countries out of it whatever will work and give us less complex state.what is the benefit of having the largest population in Africa yet we are not respected, religion , ethnic sentiments , corruptions and hatred all over.
