It’s actually a good thing that the road has been fixed but for those who think this is a Father Christmas gesture, please have a rethink. Dangote is going to be getting heavy tax concessions for this, it’s not entirely a CSR project, it is more of a do the road with your money and you will get future tax cuts to cover the cost.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very good development that the road has been fixed but it comes at a cost.

I say it’s a very welcome development, I will even prefer private companies are given tax recessions to allow them fix the roads than pay the taxes to a government that will end up looting the funds.
