So other nations became great by making prophetic declarations right? We need to stop been too religious and do the right thing. One of the Scandinavian countries, i think sweden is said to have just about 12 churches nation wide yet they have one of the best economy. Meanwhile, some streets in port Harcourt can boast of over fifty churches yet the nation is 9n shambles. We don't need prayers. We need the right leaders. Football clubs that want to be great do not toe their success to prayers, they get the best coach alongside the best players. Business that want to excel or are excelling do not toe their success to just prayers. They employ capable hands and make sure all is on deck
I hope we wake up cos the whole world is moving on. What are we waiting for.
Just like brymo sang ' let us be great for once, let there be room for all.......'

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has prophetically declared that Nigeria will be great again. The Vice President stated this at the 58th Independence Day Interdenominational Church Service at National Christian Centre, Abuja.

In what he described as a prophetic declaration over Nigeria, Osinbajo said that the season for Nigeria’s promotion and progress has come.

“This anniversary is an opportunity to bless our nation. This 58th year of Nigeria’s independence will mark a great new beginning of peace, prosperity, abundance.

“Nigeria, you will be exalted, you will not fall, you will excel, you will rise beyond the imagination of the world and you will be a pride to Africa and the world.

“This is the season of your exultation, Nigeria, the season of your renewal, season of your restoration.

“All that we have lost will be restored; where we have failed, we will succeed. We declared that deaths and destruction, every device of Satan have failed over Nigeria.”

Osinbajo also prayed for the family of the deceased pilot in the Nigerian Air Force jet that crashed on Friday during rehearsal for the celebration of Independence anniversary, Squadron Leader Baba Bello, and two survivors.

Prominent dignitaries at the event included: Wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo, Mrs. Beatrice Ekwueme, wife of former Vice President, Victoria Aguyi Ironsi, wife of former Head of State, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen, former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Head of Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, and former Head of Service, Ama Pepple, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Naval Staff,

Special prayers were offered for the progress of Nigeria and for God’s grace to enable Nigerians elect people with his fear and respect in preparation for the 2019 general election.

One hundred and twenty trumpets were blown in honour of fallen Nigerian heroes.

Fxxing Bullshyt.

Uncle Osinbajo distributing his usual Unicorn Meat to his hungry zombies.

Nigeria will never be great as long as good people( that assume Osinbajo is) turn a blind eye to evil, nepotism and corruption , as clearly represented by Buhari and Tinubu.

What a very funny but sad Irony that while uncle Osinbajo is selling this bullcrap in Abuja, his government deaf and mute to the news of mass killings in Jos today, independence day.

Why is the name of VP Osinbajo not ringing bell as possible successor to President Buhari in Nigeria he thinks shall be great again?

Nigeria's political structure rigged to have 19 states
and Abuja in former one northern region, but only 17 states in the two former Southern regions, is the huge fraud which makes the best not emerge as Nigeria's president.

Restructure Nigeria politically in a democratic see up to make Nigeria work for all, or forget your prophesy.

Let's call a spade a spade, let's stop all these spiritual gimmicks and big big grammar, let's face the fact.

Statistics have it that 1 out of every 5 black people you see in the western world is a Nigerian, these are the people that are making wave in the black community in the western world. And they are all 99.9% from and given birth to in southern Nigeria (SW,SE, SS).

If these guys can do well in other people's countries why can they do well here? Reason being the quota system (that's destroys creativity ) will never allow them. and this system is controlled by the Northern Nigeria leaders.

whether you like it or not Nigeria is controlled by northern Nigeria, which means if northern Nigeria is not ok, the nation as a whole will not.
Expect for what we are seeing today where southern Nigeria is far developed that northern Nigeria.
Why because southern Nigeria encourages everyone to think for himself, attend school, very little quota systems.

Let the Northern Nigeria leaders change their leadership style from selective quota system to an inclusive democratic Islamic system like United Arab Emirates, Qatar and what the newly Saudi Arabia crown prince is doing to Saudi Arabia now.

Not the leadership system of the Pakistani, Yemeni , old Saudi Arabia Islamic government, that favour's only a few.

What happened to the Alimajeri schools that Past President Jonathan built? Inside those Alimajeri boys lies the future billionaires, captain of industry, that can change Northern Nigeria.

You call some states educational disadvantage, giving them low Jamb marks to enter into university, where by killing their brain power. That's why its hard for them to succeed in private enterprise ( every country grows on private enterprise not government funded enterprise ) that involves heavy competition, they only succed on monopoly and government favours. These can't help them become a global brand. Because all global brands must face tough competitions, the world is a global village.

Every developed country has developed based on the development of the people, human resources not natural resources.

That's why with all the crude oil in Saudi Arabia it can't be compared with Israel that has zero oil deposits.

Until the northern Nigeria leadership change from quota system to full human development for all northern people, where everyone is equal, has 100% right to school, where birth control is put in place, where Islamic teaching that said u can only marry more than one wife IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT!!.
Where making sure that the educational budget is higher than going to Mecca budgets etc.

Until these happen, the development of Nigeria as a whole will not be there.

If you check, the statistics, All the poverty, sicknesses indices are very high in northern Nigeria compare to the south.

Today the GDP that made Nigeria the biggest economy in Africa, over 90% of the Non Oil sectors are controlled by southern Nigeria. Is it Nollywood, Music, creative arts, banking, services etc.

These 're what you get when everyone is allowed to think for himself and given opportunity to succeed in respective of your religious view.

Get this, if you allow a person to develop his brain during his youthful days, when difficult times come in his adulthood, he will devise a positive solution but when you give a person too much waivers during his youthful days, where by making his brain power ineffective, when he faces problem in his adulthood, he will devise negative solutions like depression, suicide bombing etc.

Since 1967, northern Nigeria has been controlling the leadership of Nigeria (directly / indirectly ), yet the region is the poorest of all the regions. Why?? leadership systems.
Nigeria is a reflection of what Northern Nigeria were to be if it was a country of its own.

Keep on praying tozo when action is needed but when prayer is needed you start acting like zombie. Police and soldiers are called during election to rig but when terrorists attack you start praying. Sometimes I wonder what this man can preach in the church with all these things happening around him

Well said... unarguable the greatness of any nation does not depend on its material resources, but on its mental resources; it does not depend on its manpower development, but on its mindpower development!

You have hit the nail on its head. As a people the Hausas are one of the most congenial people but when it comes to government I really can't say that they are the best. Some people say Islam is the problem but I don't think it's as simple as that. Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Jordan, Singapore are all economic giants with majority Muslim population.

Why can't we just restructure this country in a way that would allow human potential to flower? It's really killing that we are at this level in the history of mankind and Nations. It's really disheartening.

With Buhari at the helm of affairs, Nigeria cannot move forward. How he enjoyed the support of NC in 2015 and have now turned his back on them portray him as a treacherous serpent. He is a meanie with a grossly tribalistic mind.

If prayer or prophesy works then Nigeria will be eldorado. God has finished creation (energy cannot be created nor destroyed) it is now left to us to use our God given wisdom to manipulate (but can be transformed from one form to another) his creation to the benefit of ourselves. Praying is trying to put God back to work which he will not do.
Relax man. Just watch and see what God is going to do in Nigeria before 2019. His ways are not our ways.

How do these past leaders feel knowing they contributed to d downfall of Nigeria.?? Madness is doing same thing all over again and expecting a different result.
