PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT-

NO ELECTION PRIMARIES IN OGUN STATE:

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ogun State wishes to announce that there will be no Election Primaries today in the State, and until further notice. Our party members had waited three consecutive days under the elements and had conducted the exercise under the watchful eyes of the relevant agencies.

We shall communicate further developments to all Stakeholders in due course.

APC in Ogun state is a goat,why can't they settle their wahala amicably?I think they just want to lose Ogun state.

In my opinion, Amosun should have tried to unite the APC in the state so that he will have less resistance to his plan to install his successor. Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu had to 'stoop to conquer' by reaching out to the likes of Fashola, Muiz, and Atoki ('factional chairman') for support in order to consolidate and shore up their bases in Lagos ahead of the primaries.

The APC in Ogun has not been united for a very long time in the state (except in maybe Ogun Central), and Amosun should be strategic enough to reach out to the Dapo faction and maybe offer them concessions so that he can unite the party in the state, else APC may lose the state next year. In politics there are no permanent enemies but permanent interests. My two cents.

Afonjas on this forum were telling us how Ambode is the best Governor to have ruled Lagos when he was targeting Igbo businesses, now that Jagaban has thrown him out, they say he deserves only one term because he failed to fix this and that and can never be poor again and he should be given ministerial appointment.

Never trust an Afonja, they can deny you any day and anytime.
Ambode is a coward, he turned around to accept defeat without a fight to the same man he called 'psychiatric patient and fake dollar peddler'

They are lucky PDP in the state is also factionalized
