In continuation of the search and rescue of Maj IM Alkali (rtd) The COAS has constituted special task force to carry out a sting operation aimed at finally locating the whereabouts of the missing senior officer.

The first phase of the operation involved combing the entire Doi Du Community in Du District of Jos South LGA of Plateau State. 30 suspects were arrested.

Weapons recovered from Some of the Suspects Include, 3 X Locally Made Single Barrel Guns, 3 X Locally Made Pistols, 5 X 7.62 MM(SP) RDS, 30 X 9MM RDS, One Pistol Mag and an Empty Case.

Others Include 4 X Knives, One X Locally Made Sword, 3 Cutlasses, One Iron Rod, 2 PAIRS OF Boots, 3 X Vigilante ID Cards, 5 X Motor Cycles, One Tricycle, One Thousand Korean Currency Note, A Wrist Watch, One Power Bank ,25 Assorted Phones, 2 Car Keys, 2 House Keys and A Hoe. The operation would continue until the senior officer is found.

Much as I dislike Buhari and the Present Nigerian Army....one matter that keeps bothering me is ...

Why were those women protesting when they saw that the Nigerian Army wanted to evacuate those ponds in search of the Missing General?

Were those women aware of the nefarious activities of the area boys, and actually even condoned and encouraged it, and then got very jittery when the Army came knocking?

Be that as it May, this same army haven't gone fishing anywhere to seek out the perpetrators of the many Fulani massacres...but now they seem to have something to hang on the Berom, they are forming Sherlock Holmes with so much enthusiasm

One moral lesson for members of the armed forces is this...Some people you hurt while forming agile soldier never forgive you....When you think all is well and no one can touch you, they will strike back ...and however late it may be, the debt will be fully paid....That Uniform can't protect you all the time....No matter how high ranking you are, people seeking vengeance will always get to you.

See the way they are parading people that have not been declared guilty by the court as criminals, yet, they have not been able to catch one murderous Fulani Herdsman, and are also giving members of Boko Haram amnesty, and recruiting them into our Police Force and Army.
