Sometimes, the suspect paraded are interviewed by journalists, we hardly see them denying what they're being accused of. If They're forced to give information on something they have no link to, why not react when the cameras are there to show the world you have no link?
I have seen criminals on "crime watch" exonerating someone that was caught with them; they openly defended him and said he's part of their operations.

Suspects in Nigeria are tortured and forced to confess to crimes they never had a hand in ; this is a fact we all know , which is why Nigerian prisons are overcrowded by prisoners who have been left in prison to rot without a fair hearing from a court of law. These men (even of they were fulani) have not been charged to a court of law ; hence they cannot be said to be guilty of anything.
