Atiku, Bukola Emerge as Frontrunners in PDP Presidential Primary

Barring any last minute surprises, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar appears set to clinch the PDP Presidential Primary election taking place over the weekend in Portharcourt.
A new survey of delegates to the convention by the Prof Ango Abdullahi-led Northern Elders Forum showed Atiku as the preferred choice of majority of the delegates. Senate President Bukola Saraki is second in the poll while Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and Governor Aminu Tambuwwal came third and fourth respectively.

Members of the Forum travelled to all the six geopolitical zones in the country where they conducted interviews with the delegates.
