The process of selecting the flag bearer for PDP in the 2019 General Election has now come to conclusion. The Primaries took place in Port Harcourt as delegates form all parts of Nigeria thronged the Garden city for this historic Election.

At the end of the heated contest that has been adjourned by observers as the freest and fairest Democratic Practice in recent times, Produced the former President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the winner after poling 1,532 votes cast by the delegates.

Reacting to the landslide victory, Chief Emeka Kalu, the DG of one of the foremost Pro Atiku group, The Atikulated Agenda, expressed joy at the outcome of the PDP Primaries. He praised the organizers of the election for the way they ensured a smooth process that has produced the most qualified of all the candidates.

“I want to congratulate our Principal for this well deserved victory. We worked so hard for it and this is a projection of what will be in 2019. The power belong to the people” he said.

“Alhaji Atiku is the most qualified to lead Nigeria at this pressing time, judged by his wealth of experience and antecedents, he will make Nigeria great again.
