Qatar gives lots of aid to the Palestinians and the US aid cut was more of a political statement than an economic statement.

It simply showed that the US had completely disowned the Palestinians and were now totally supporting the Israelis. The Republican party by nature is,always pro-,Israel as it conservative by nature and HSS backing of american Pentecostals. The movement of the US embassy to Jerusalem was also a big statement
