Remember that WISDOM is 80% TIMING accuracy and 20% DECISION accuracy.
When David was to become king, people began to come from different tribes to make him king, but the Bible described a tribe with a clear understanding of the times- the children of Issachar. One distinguishing quality they possessed was that they had understanding of the times. Their actions were not based on crowd effect but because they sensed it was the right time. One of the secrets of living ahead in life is doing the right thing at the right time and being in the right place at the right time.
Their understanding of the times caused them to know what Israel OUGHT to do, not what Israel WANTED or DESIRED to do. The truth is that you may not personally like the things that make you fulfil your divine destiny. God wants you to understand the times you are living in; to know what your church ought to do as the pastor, what believers ought to do, and so on. You should understand the timing of God in His programme for your life. Especially what you ought to do as against what the majority is doing.
God doesn’t bless what is popular, He blesses what is right. What are you supposed to be doing now in the program of God for your life? Some pastors want church growth but in God’s programme for them, God is currently growing the man of God to be able to handle the people coming in the next season. Don’t assume on your timing in God’s programme.

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from crowd effect. Help me to understand Your timing for me in life and destiny in Jesus’ name.
