Even the American known artistes don't have days dedicated to them anywhere in the US, so one boy that came from Africa will suddenly have a day dedicated to him in Minnesota? he caters to niche markets abroad. I.e. Nigerians and people with some Nigerian connections abroad. The average American on the street has no idea who Wizkid is. Especially in a white state like Minnesota.

There’s nothing like wizkid day. The funniest thing all Nigerians news channel took the news from wizkid Instagram and twitter pages without proper verification. Fake Journalism!! Who will declare wizkid day in America? People are busy working their a*s out daily. How did wizkid day going to be a benefit to this country economy? U seem to know nothing about how days are conferred to people..It has nothing whatsoever to do with how hard u work , praiz who we dont even value , back there has a day, in a state in the US , so praiz and Wizkid , who's bigger ...he just had a sold out show there , enough reason the governor should give him a day , its Minnesota for wailing out loud , such titles don't need much publicity , if u know u know, and in Nigeria we dont have anything like individual days , even Obasanjo has no day !

dude don't waste ur precious time arguing with those haters. there is absolutely nothing u will tell them and they will believe. someone even said that wizkid didn't sell out 20,000 capacity 02 arena and Wizkid didn't sell out royal Albert hall. they also said wizkid doesn't have any Jersey with Nike . that it's theweekends own bla bla bla . it hurts them so much that Wizzy is just too blessed
