From time immemorial, draught/low water level as always been a recipe for ethnic war. It caused war in biblical times. Why else do you think a particular tribe would chase after other people's land since precolonial days uptill now ( using different excuse like jihad and farmer/herdsmen clash as excuse)
My simple solution; we need more dams to trap water release from Cameroon yearly to avert floods, provide electricity and irrigation for farmers/ herdsmen
