Most believers’ problems arise from moving out of God’s timing and coming under satanic and circumstantial pressure. For example, God has set 9 months for women to carry pregnancy. If your wife gets pregnant today and delivers in two weeks’ time, that will be an abortion.
Beloved, there are things the Lord has set for you that are time bound but the devil does all he can to move you ahead of God. If you are impatient and strive to get those things, they will become a snare to you even though it is the will of God for you to have them. This was the case with the birth of Ishmael.
God had said in Genesis chapter 15 that Abraham was going to have a child but Sarah pushed Abraham into lying with her maid and the product of that was Ishmael. Although Sarah eventually gave birth to Isaac (the son of promise), going outside divine timing led to the pain of having to live with the consequences of Ishmael.
It is to our benefit when we wait for God’s time. Things are made beautiful in God’s time and we must earnestly seek to be accurate in God’s time. Don’t stop at finding out God’s purpose for your life; find out your times. Your time may be different from your friend’s, so you don’t have to envy him or emulate him. Just wait and keep being faithful where you are; keep doing what you are supposed to do and you’ll get to where God has ordained for you.

PRAYER: Lord, I choose to tarry in Your will and in Your timing. Deliver me from every pressure that I have imposed on myself by moving ahead of You in any area of my life in Jesus’ name.
