congrats! I heard this happens but you should get the PPR within a few days if not tomorrow. Are you feb 2023? If so that's great news!

Normally, Your sister can be sponsored while in canada with dependant outside Canada, once approved the dependant outside Canada would submit passport for immigrant visa to join them in canada. However, a child is considered to be a dependent if they are under 22 years old and are not married or in a common-law relationship. A child over the age of 22 will be considered a dependent if they suffer from a physical or mental condition that prevents them from being able to support themselves.

Medical request : August 15 2023 (I had done upfront medicals) I sent several webforms for them to update it

Ghost update : Nov 1st 2023

Medical passed : Nov 8th 2023

Eligibility: Nov 8th 2023

Pre arrival mail : Nov 10th

PPR mail : Nov 10th

Aug 17, got UCI no / biometric mail
Aug 23, linked up mail
Aug 31 submitted biometric
Sept 6, I was able to linkup my profile
Sept 7 Ghost update
My husband already got the email for sponsor eligibility July 18
Till date I haven’t received medical request it seems like my application is abandoned please I need help 😔 for my mental health

If you are in Canada when you get your PPR, you'll need to send a webform to request virtual landing. IRCC will send you a portal invitation to electronically get your address in Canada confirmed. After completing all the steps required, your eCOPR will be issued. With this completed you can go to service Canada to have your SIN issued. Your PR Card will then be forwarded to the provided address

Your AOR even came in earlier compared to few others seen.
Since you have a ghost update
Your medicals will come in soon
My thoughts

You need not to worry.
Lots of people experience several months of silence and boom 💥 they'd receive medical request, prearrival, and ppr all in their 7th/8th/9th/10th month.
Just chill and prepare for life in canada

Yes, my wife sent the webform same day I got the PPR email. They responded the following day that they got the webform. Based on information from WhatAspp group for virtual landing, on the average so far, it takes between 5 to 7 days to get the first portal invitation after sending the webform. My wife didn't attach any document to the webform. All she did was indicate she is in Canada and provided her current address (which Accra has already updated on her file). I learned documents like passport photo will be uploaded via the portal.

Sorry I missed this. I was off NL for some days now. May be that would work. In our case we have been lucky with response to webforms from Accra. The last one got a response and update on tracker after 24 hours

Glad February applicants are being given attention now oh...I'm hopeful there will be multiple PPRs for February applicants

I got 1 ghost update in September then I had one last week, the last one I got was this week then I got the update for eligibility in progress . At a time I had the tracker tab on on my browser so I can check quickly but later deleted it due to frustration. Its was recently I started checking again. Even now I am tired already. This process is very unhealthy to the mind.
