THE WAITING PERIODS:There are season's in human life when you would be very expectant of the future promises given to you by the lord,this is the timezone between all prophetic words upon your destiny and it manifestation's. This is a season which seems not to end soon,it time frame seems longer than the longest river in Africa "river Nile"This period is the true and the greatest test of the virtue called "patience" in the Christian journey .When all the suggestion's to go for temporary offers for quicker solution's from the devil seems more appealing to our imagination,the night seems far stretched into the day,the day seems way too longer than usual.I would like to highlight what must be done prior to fulfillment of God's promises/prophetic utterance's.
(A)Be very attentive to specific leading and divine instructions:a lot of Christian do try to put the holy spirit inside a box through our actions. We do assumed that because of our long year's of our Christian journey, the only way he would speak to us in anticipation of our miracle is how we have been hearing him for year's. Our God can never be put in a corner, never! He is multi dynamic and He has more than a thousand ways he do act .Because of Elijah's fire experience with the Prophet's of Baal,he sought for the voice of the lord in the wind and in the fire, he did not hear the Lord speak,but the Lord came through "a deep still small voice" because of our genetic make up as human,we are a product of our past actions. We look for familiarity in every new situations and circumstances,forgetting that the Lord of the universe does thing's as He pleases.The rich woman in the bible was led to built a pent house with a chair,a table and a bed at the very top of the main building for Elisha when she observed that he was a prophet of God,this act really impressed Elisha because He observed that though the woman was very rich,she has no child of her own.Elisha prophesied and a baby boy came thereafter.The widow of sarepheth who had a single child with the hope of eating her last meal and then lay down to die was instructed by Elijah to make his own meal first and then she should borrow her neighbour's oil vessels for sale's as to sustain her during the famine.Joshua and the Israelites were specifically instructed to circle around the 'City of Jericho ' for seven day's and seven time's on the very last day before the wall came down,Gideon was asked to reduce the numbers of the Soldiers by taking them to the river and observed how they drank from the water,soldier's who lapped the water like a dog were sent home and those who scooped the water with their Palm's stayed behind, thou the bible did not explain further, What God wanted Gideon to observe was that the one's who bent to lap the river did it out of fear of the battle to be fought,because there is no how they would drink the water without laying their weapons on the floor which is a big risk in case the enemies attacked them from behind at that exact time.Those who scooped the water with their hand's still has some confidence in their mind because their weapons would still be in the other hand as they scoop with one hand and watch their surroundings they can still fight if the enemies attacked suddenly from behind and just three hundred men out of thirty two thousand fought five cities and won.Mose's was specifically instructed to strech his rod across the 'red sea' for passage.I can give a whole lot's of biblical examples of how God gave his people what to do to receive longterm expectations and miracles,the major mistakes we do make as believer's is just that we tend to assume that what we are asked to do look's too foolish and is of no value to winning our present battle. Life is more spiritual than physical,the world celebrate past experience in solving it challenge's but in this kingdom we are meant to use 'mystery' to win, there are mysteries that governs the affair's on earth which only God knows,is it not stupid enough for David to hold a catapult with five Stone's to kill Goliath, Goliath himself who had been fighting for the Philistine even before David was born told asked David that am I a dog to be stoned,is it not stupid and stressful enough to be circling the wall of Jericho for seven day's when the Israelites could have just go in and take over the city at the very first day.From inception of the earth,is it not selfish enough for Elijah to ask a widow to go cook her last meal and his own first,if it were to be now,we would definitely call Elijah a 'fake prophet'God do use very simple approach to solve complex situations,the reason is that the book of revelation refer to him as "the beginning and the end" "He is the very first and the last" "the all knowing King and all powerful" it is never in the nature of God to panic amidst situations.Who ? and what ? would make the Creator panic, the devil who did try was banished for ever from heaven and sent to earth as given in Rev.12:11 "and they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the words of thier testimony and they love not their lives even unto death" The idea and suggestions that had been raging in your mind to win your present situation is the very best.We should stop asking God how possible is that instead of telling him what should I do? Disobedience to a higher authority is called 'rebellion' and rebellion is the same as the spirit of witchcraft as said by Samuel.For every situations that seems to stared us face to face, let us always ask God what should I do to come out of this?Goodmorning friend's
