If SE Govs & Leaders Choice Was Soludo, Who Approved Obi For Atiku? by BabaRamota1980: 4:27pm On Oct 14, 2018
A number of revelations were made in the disagreement and dissatisfaction of Ibo leaders and governors with Atiku over choice of VP.

1. SE had been in discussion with Atiku and his 4th wife for longer than six months.

2. They had also negotiated with Atiku and 4th wife that he must pick VP from SE if he wants to win.

3. They had traded with both Atiku and 4th wife that if they accept Prof. Charles Soludo as VP to Atiku, their States delegates will endorse and vote enmasse for his victory in PDP primaries.

4. Atiku and 4th wife agreed to the conditions of support given to them by SE leaders and governors.

5. On the morning of PDP primary, Saraki was pictured emerging from a meeting tagged as warm and serious in what appeared to be an endorsement of Obi as VP should Saraki win primary.

6. After primary we learnt from reports that Atiku won primary, saved by SE delegates who voted enmasse to give him victory.

7. Few days later Atiku announced Peter Obi as his choice of VP.

grin

In the negotiation to market themselves as a better option than SW, Ibo leaders would also have fired a long list of demagoguery why Yoruba will be a bad choice for Atiku and 4th wife. They did similar in positioning why, out of the two top contenders, Soludo as a better option to Ngozi. grin

I'm wondering why Atiku's 4th wife, an Ibo, is principal in the negotiation? Was there also a trade for her to be the recognized First Lady, catapulted above the Yoruba and the two Fulani wives he married ahead of her?

Beside people of SE, Nigerians in other regions generally view Saraki as a treacherous politician who uses stealth and fraternity to bring both his friends and foes down. Picture him as a fox in the animal kingdom. ...be that as it is,he is hailed by Ibos as a super achiever and a super brilliant politician who outmaneuvers his opponents with accurate calculations and beat them to their game. grin

It is no secret that Atiku needs Saraki and Dogara as leaders of NASS as long as is possible to save them from impeachment. Atiku does not have the capacity to defeat Buhari and he knows this. He needs other tangibles to weaken Buhari and destabilize the power of his incumbency against his own chances with the populace. He can dobthat through a friendly legislature. Hence where Saraki comes in, as not only the leader of Senate and legislature but also the statutory 3rd power in order of heirarchy.

Did Saraki also traded with Atiku?

Well, if Saraki's character as known, and his tribulations marketed by Ibos are combined, we should not even ask if Saraki traded with Atiku...we should just accept it as a defacto! grin

In exchange for what Atiku needs done in NASS...i.e. Saraki to be his navigator to power in 2019, could Saraki equally have supplanted Obi as VP to Atiku...to guarantee his own survival post 2019?

If SE leaders and governors agreed with Atiku and 4th wife to pick SEasterner Soludo and they delivered their end of the bargain at primary by giving victory to Atiku, why did Atiku renege on the deal and selected Obi behind their back?

Who went above the head of SE leaders and governors to approve Obi for Atiku?

He double traded the VP position and gave it to who he believed has capacity to put Presidency in his hand. The real Atiku has no ideals, he is hungry for that position at all cost. The man is yet to occupy position see how he already showed his hands. Atiku has his focus on one thing...Presidency, period!

When he gets it....Obasanjo go see hell! grin

Saraki does not believe he will regain his Senate seat given what's happening in Kwara. With this move he has become godfather to Obi and retention to power at the Executive level. Obi is timid and lacks political savviness, everyone knows this, its why his brothers are furious.

You will be 22 years older before Nigeria can consider SE "President or VP". 22 years is not possible cause you have shown yourself as enemy of Nigeria.

No sane leader will ever let you people get into power. Same is happening in PDP ( None of my concern). Atiku refuse to select your leaders candidate cause he can never trust you with power

It only takes a defection from APGA to PDP. It doesnt matter now, Saraki has intervened with Obi.
