Elections are around the corner. If this report is true, then the NBS has totally lost it. The same NBS that was shamefully publishing that inflation rate was going for 11 consecutive months, whereas prices of commodities are still the same or even rising in the market. Interestingly, Kogi, that hasn't paid salaries for over 2 years is not the purpoted list, Osun that has been paying half salary is absent on the list! Meanwhile, virtually all the states listed are PDP states!! Buhari wouldn't mind destroying all institutions for propaganda and election. 39 Likes 4 Shares |

When you read some comments such as "elections are around the corner", "I no wan hear anything Buhari must go" and other childish talk, you know that some youths are carrying generational curse. What business does Rivers state have with being the poverty capital of Nigeria with the humongous earnings at its disposal? Doomed nation. Doomed future. 52 Likes 7 Shares |

Funny Thing is, irrespective of Osun's meager monthly Fed allocation, wailers are busy trying to convince us that Aregbesola failed while at the same time projecting Wike as a monumental achiever. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Typical of online miscreants. Everyone should click on that link to read the article. The article continues " On a zone by zone basis, poverty intensity is more prevalent in Northwest 45 per cent closely followed by Northeast with 44 per cent while Southwest and South East has the lowest, tying at 38 per cent." Always read from the source so that you don't fall victim to propagandaist. Here is a 2018 report from UNICEF which stated that the South West has the second highest number of stunted children after the North www.saharareporters.com/2018/02/27/south-west-has-second-highest-number-stunted-children-nigeria-unicef 26 Likes 5 Shares |

ignant: Why are you contradicting yourself ? You are speaking from both mouths ; your first link states SE and SW maintain the same position while the second contradicts the former Anyway, that should tell you that SW population is higher than SE,and besides, after all the op was specific about states and not region. And point of correction the word " stunt " doesn't necessarily mean or translate to poverty/hunger but lack of nutrition. 22 Likes 4 Shares |

Can you just imagine that my great state, Osun State has the lowest poverty rate in Nigeria according to this report . And all these online miscreants from the other side will be shouting up and down with their propaganda. And say all sort of bullshit about Osun State. God bless Aregbesola , God bless Oyetola. Osun to ti n dara ko nii baje. richidinho:How hard is it for this clown to comprehend simple English? Who said anything about how “rich” the states are ? Illiteracy is a disease .
