Lagos State To Shut Down Unlicensed Lottery Operators by Toshmoney(m): 6:23am On Oct 17, 2018 |
Lagos State which was once Nigeria Federal Capital has made it known to the public that the state lotteries will still continue the shut down of unlicensed gaming operators, stressing that the activities of illegal operators are inimical to the growth and development of the gaming industry in Lagos. General Manager the Board, Seun Anibaba, who gave the warning in Ikeja, added that the Agency has also discovered that some authorised agents offer games from both licensed and unlicensed gaming operators in order to maximise profit. He implored perpetuators of unlicensed gaming activities to desist from such illegal activities, saying that anyone caught operating without a valid licence will severely be dealt with because such illegal activity is a violation and total disregard for the basic laws regulating the industry in Lagos. According to him, gaming operators/agents in Lagos State are advised to comply with provisions of Lagos State Lotteries Law to support the remarkable efforts of the State Government in its quest to achieve the status of a globally competitive State. While noting that LSLB remains committed to continuous surveillance, monitoring, investigation and enforcement as part of efforts to sanitise the sector, Anibaba maintained that it is essential for stakeholders and the public to conform to the gaming laws to achieve the desired objective and vision for the Lagos State Gaming industry. He, therefore, enjoined stakeholders to cooperate with the Board to achieve the desired growth in the gaming industry in Lagos State. Shut down bet9ja, nairabet, they have ruined people's lives. They almost ruined my life. I have not even recovered from what they did to me. They are wicked. I am writing a book, which I would lunch very soon on my 10 years in hell of Gambling. So that people battling with Gambling addiction can benefit from it. Gambling Is a silent killer. Go to bet9ja, you will see many students whose parents thought they were in school, sending money for school fees, accommodation, feeding, they will squander everything in bet9ja virtual playing correct score. Parents if your child in school starts making unusual demand for money, then there is trouble. Please those of you cursing and criticising me what you are saying is correct, even those playing it knows it is wrong, but to stop it is difficult. It is very very addictive, it is like those into drugs. Many have fasted, gone for deliverance, swear with road to stop Gambling, but they can't stop it. Gambling Is extremely addictive to stop. 27 Likes 2 Shares |

Humblechuks002: Gambling wasn't your problem, your lack of discipline was your problem. Because you lack discipline, it's possible you won't control yourself and even if you engage in food, sex, alcohol, sleep, just anything, you'll abuse it. That's why we have gluttons, nymphomaniacs, drunkards, etc. They are people who couldn't control themselves. In gambling, you should follow the rules and the rules are founded on self control. Gamble with what you can afford to lose, but because you lack self control, any money that enters your hands, you use it to gamble. 12 Likes |

Our nation has stop with the fear of God and have gone astray. Like the biblical Israelite. They have turn to other gods. You can see it in gambling prostitution, rituals, 419, pride, greed etc. Let us. Let us return to the true God in faith,.love and hope. Amen. 1 Like |

Oga you are the architect of the so called hell you're in right now. Nobody from bet9ja, nairaland or any of these betting companies, put a gun to your head and asked you to bet with your rent money, your business money or your life savings. Your greed and laziness landed you where you are, so enjoy it. Humblechuks002: 2 Likes |

Viking007: Neither is it for rich people, I know many Rich men that bet9ja had rendered useless. If you are counting in millions and start playing bet9ja, in a matter of time, you will look for the money, you won't find it. Somebody jumped from three story building of bet9ja in my town umuahia, because of debt, he lost about 400,000 naira that day. Apart from cocaine and drugs, bet9ja follows 2 Likes |
