So buhari's achievement is only meant for the north abi? so south, east and west no follow for Nigeria ba? So you mean to tell me now that you have sense by what you just posted? Atiku has private business where he hired mostly the youths. There's circulation of youth manpower and as such the economy needs his investment. So tell me again, do you have sense by this dumb comparison you just put out? vedaxcool: |

I'm really disappointed with majority of the comments on this thread Apparently just a few people are concerned with the fact that this is coming as 2019 elections is by the corner Did he have to wait till this very moment?? For Christ sake a lot of them have already died waiting for their pension. I swear I'm disappointed 1 Like |

Tapout: Are you blind or just obtuse? These are pensions being owed by previous governments and not Buhari. Buhari is simply cleaning up their 16 to 20 year old mess for them so that these pensioners can at least smile again. This had nothing to do with the elections as sorting and computerization of their data began a while ago pending their payments. Not too long ago the FG approved release of over 22b for them and they were asked to come for verification and an almost immediate disbursement of their entitlement. Which part of the thread did you not understand? 6 Likes 2 Shares |

DjQris: The economy does not need anything from Atiku. He caused the folding up of 23 if our national assets so he and his boss OBJ can sell them off in dubious ways just like he got NITEL for himself and changed the name to INTELS. He is a crook and a fraud He rendered millions jobless in his time just so he could open up private businesses of his own at their detriment. I guess you are one of the indomie generations 1 Like |

D1zion:So why didn't your PDP pay them even before and after 20yeras of election periods. Now who inflicted hardship on Nigerian people. Do you know so many of their children that could not go to school due to the pension owed them. Do not support injustice and evil so it doesn't get to you. Thank You God Bless PMB for putting smile on the faces of these old men and women that laboured for their Country. Justice at last. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Tapout: Same way the social investment programs which began in 2016 had everything to do with election right? Your wailing will not cease until 2050 because that is how long it would take for us to ever give PDP a chance again and even that would be at local government level first 2 Likes 1 Share |

Yes he did it he did it he did it!!!... Why didn't PMB did it before this time so that we will not have any window of doubts of whether he is not trying to manipulate people to vote him comes 2019? Why this time? That PMB did what other administrators had refused to accomplish is not an applause but a completion of what needs to be done for the welfare of the citizens of this country. Well, politicians have their ways of making you think you deserve them more than they deserve you. It is pathetic that some people see this single act as a yardstick to support this incumbent administration against the killing of innocent Nigerians in almost every part of this Country.. Not to talk about the abduction of the Chikbok girls. Wouldn't that have been better saving the lives of these innocent girls than "paying off backlogs just to attract people to himself"? Nigerians need more than that for a leader comes 2019. Let us not be deceived with their scheming ways to get "our" attention. |

Ziggylady: Some are wailing that the problem is he did not devalue the naira or let it float. This one is wailing that he devalued the naira. Confused wailers. Herdsmen farmers clashes has been with us for a long time even during the military era. It has and will only get worse if sensible win-win solution is not found, irrespective of who wins the next election. Only a kid will think clashes will end immediately their tribesman is voted in to office. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I dont know but my dad's name was yanked off the payroll. He was told to do verification in July. Last week was at PITAD office and told they are still working on paying him. Since May he has not been paid . A almost 90 years old man. Like they want him to the so they wont be paying him or what. Before he could be verified na another war. Someone who has been receiving pension for so long you now turn verification like jamb. |

Tapout:why are u so myopic in your reasoning, Okay, agreed it has to do with election,is he the first incumbent to campaign for reelection since these people were owed, why didn't others do it. So in your opinion, once its close to election, q sitting government should stop working so as not to gain political advantage. Please be reasonable 3 Likes 1 Share |

dezyner:The 200,000 youths he has been paying #30,000(6bn monthly,72bn yearly) in Npower scheme since, did that change your mind? now they are 500,000(10bn monthly). you can only believe whatever you wish to believe, some of us know better. No past government can boast of spending 72 bn for the masses in a 4 year tenure, that is what Buhari has been doing yearly under just a single scheme 3 Likes 1 Share |
