I want to keep this short : there's this colleague of mine who has been my friend for 10 years, and he also helped got me my current job. But the Crux of the matter is, he has always wanted more than friendship but I don't see him that way.

Last week he asked me out again ( for the fourth time, I thanked him, and wished he stops asking ) I turned him down. He seems to have the believe that as colleagues I don't want him because He earn slightly above me. But it not true, I like him as a friend and he is a great friend nothing more.

But for this time, the fourth rejection, he was very angry, and said so many bad words against me ( called me ingrate, and said I was whoring around in the office, a lie. ) thank God I dodged that bullet.

He sent this to our public office mail this morning. I felt sad, but shocked he belief this...
so that's how he see me

women do not want your love. It is not what they’re after. No, what women truly want is value. [\b]

She wants your value; your status, your wealth, your protection, your comfort. [A man that has all these things can excite a woman by telling her he loves her] only because it means that she is being given a gift. She does not love you. She loves those gifts, the transfer of your value.
Compare and contrast that to what happens when your value is gone.

[b] Your love means precisely nothing to her. Quite the opposite, it disgusts her . She does not want your love. She doesn’t want to be loved. She wants to be validated by value, and the words “I love you” do exactly that for her, providing that you offer her some value.

Men do desire female love. Your brain is wired to crave female love. This is not true with women, and misapplying this with them sets you up for disappointment when your expectations invariably aren’t met.

Your love does not bring with it any intrinsic value. To her it is as worthless as the air that comes out of your mouth when you say it. Treat “I love you” for what it really is – “I’m willing to share my value with you”, because that is what women really desire.

No, what women truly want is value. They want a combination of things that excite their dopamine receptors, none of which come directly from you loving her [\b]

he is right na

what he said makes so much sense and can be applied to his situation

u don't love him cause u don't feel he adds value to u

women by nature are materialistic

when guys go around saying "make money women will come" u think we don't know what we are saying?

no matter how sweet or friendly u are if ur not valuable ull just be friendzoned

He made lots of sense, though he spoke out of anger. I won't blame him sha cos he feels used. And yes,you used him and you know deep in your heart you did. Not only for the job but for other unmentioned things also. Yet,here you are trying to play the victim. Stories like this disgust me. Men shine your eyes. I'm outta here.

In all honestly you could have spelt it out asap, he feels you're taking advantage of him. But assuming you wrote test and got the employed the normal process then he can fvck himself, but if he got you employed as in no tests and all, then yeah it feels that way
