Matthew 7:7

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you"

The above scripture is probably the most quoted scripture among our 21 century christians...

Is it bad? no! but am puzzled by it's 1 dimentional usage.

Matt 7:7 when you need money! Matt 7:7 when you need a car!
Mattt 7:7 When you need a house!

Are all this bad? No but when they become a top priority then we have a big problem.

Rather

Matt 7:7 You need Spiritual enlightenment!
Matt 7:7 You need grace to contend for holiness!
Matt 7:7 You need insight concerning kingdom expansion.


You canot ask for spiritual enlightenment & it will not be given.

You cannot seek for holiness & not find.

You cannot knock on the door of kingdom expansion & it will not open.

Remember King Solomon asked for just WISDOM & God gave him all.

Why not use 1 stone to kill all your needs?
