William Ndlovu (21) was found hanging near Mamutse Stadium in Mucheke on Monday hours after he allegedly had a quarrel with brothers of his well-endowed girlfriend.

Police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Kudakwashe Dhewa confirmed the incident but said investigations to establish the reasons for the suicide were still being carried out.

Ndlovu’s body was discovered by Taurai Sande (45) who was going to a nearby hill to pray.

Burial for Ndlovu is still being arranged.

Sources who spoke to The Mirror on condition of anonymity said that Ndlovu was seen at around 4 pm quarreling and fighting with his girlfriend’s brothers. Others said the fights went on until around 7 pm and both the deceased and his attackers were never seen again from that time.

Ndlovu was later seen hanging from the tree.
