This is where you literally missed it. A handful of individuals with political ambition or interest does not equate to the tendencies of the whole Igbo race. Yes, it is not unusual to align with someone who appears to be favorable to what you stand for, among available options. What the Igbos want/need is a stable environment and level playing field.
No the voting patterns of the Eboes equals their tendencies, no?

What it points to is an acceptance of defeat by the Igbos who know they have burnt bridges all over Nigeria and cannot really compete against any other Southerner, be it SouthWest or SouthSouth, and win the votes of other Nigerians. It is a sorry admission of defeat.

They want the Presidency, but want the rest of the South to back out of it and give it to them on a platter, because they are entitled to the loyalty and service of others, and that way, the rest of Nigeria who already find them obnoxious would be forced to vote for them as the only aspirants for the presidential primaries of the 2 major parties.

Even the PDP primary of 1998 in Jos, that produced an Obasanjo candidacy, had many other Southerners (Ekwueme, Etiebet, Alabo Graham Douglas, Philip Asiodu, et all) contesting. But the Igbo man already knows he is a political failure as he wasn't innately blessed with the patience, humility, subtle cajoling and compromise such delicate enterprise requires. He simply knows he will fail at it, and would rather have a situation where his candidacy is a gift tendered to him by others who were sure to inflict a defeat.

While I am certain that SouthWest and SouthSouth politicians in PDP will contest for the presidential primaries in 2022 for the 2023 elections, the Igbos have determined they will vote for a Northerner, even if no Northerner is contesting just as no Southerner contested this last PDP primary whose ticket had already been zoned to the general North.

It is a sorry state of affairs for politics in Igboland, and it is certain the self destruction will continue much longer.

Since the Igbos already accepted primary defeat, we might end up having a SouthWesterner on the ticket of both PDP and APC, or a SouthSoutherner on both party tickets, or a straight showdown between the SouthWest and the SouthSouth in an APC vs PDP showdown.

The most intriguing aspect of the Igbo mindset in all these political calculations, is the fact that they have already decided on behalf of the SouthSouth, as though the SouthSouth have told them they are not themselves interested in being president of Nigeria in 2023 and would rather have a Northerner continue forever as it is the Igbo ecstasy. Igbos just sit in their beer parlours in Nnewi and make a decision on behalf of the mono-ethnic SE and the multi-ethnic SS, but would then claim betrayal for a loyalty that was never promised, if things don't go according to their own selfish tribal agenda.

The SouthEast has already reiterated its irrelevance in all these calculations, and no amount of terrorism and rebellion will gift them presidential tickets of either APC or PDP, having already betrayed their inability to compete with other players.

If APGA likes as an Igbo party, they can go to the North and search for an unwilling Northerner just to prove to us their preference for slavery beneath the North that we all know too well. It would not stop that Northerner from losing to a Southerner as was the case of the Northern Bashir Tofa with SouthEast support, against the Southern MKO Abiola who was victorious without SouthEast support.

I would be happy to watch the SouthEasterners traversing the North and begging for a gworo chewing janjawee.d uncircumcised philistine "Fulani" bastard, who they can serve again with their assured and beloved Vice-Presidential role, like the minions that they are, at a time they should be campaigning for the presidency like the rest of the South, just because they cannot compete against the rest of the South like the Northerners across the 3 zones just did in PDP.

Just as I posited.

The difference is that:

one group is objective, makes decisions based on facts and reality,

while

the other group is subjective, makes decisions based on emotions and delusion.

And both their results are out.

Ever since Atiku/Obi emerged yoruba moslems have been running mad since.

Vote for your son and let vote for ours. Let see who will win at the polls. But ready to suffer any consequences.

NW/SW against SS/SE/MB/NE, part of NW(Shia moslems, part of Kano, Zamfara, Sokoto and Northern Christians)
and part of SW (Ndi Igbo in SW and progressive non-tribal yoruba christians)

Defeat that coalition first before talking about 2023.

Let meet at the polls.

See Igbo projection
