The banking world is a complete failure if something as simple as creating a channel of communication that links all banks in the world (on a read only basis) is not in place angry

This is not Bitcoin for fūcking sake, these IT security idiots should get to work angry

Every bank should have a feature that allows a customer to instantly freeze any account that he/she has ever sent money to at any point in time angry The customer would upload electronic evidence (screenshots, receipt, chats, emails, etc) of fraud connected with the payment(s) he/she made to that account. angry The evidence will be reviewed by the bank within 24 hours angry If there was really a fraudulent transaction, the owner of the account would be blacklisted worldwide on every financial and immigration system (airports), and arrested at any of those places angry All these reviewing would be handle by a standby fraud monitoring unit (which every financial institution should be mandated by law to have) angry

With that in place, only a slowpoke would dare run a fraudulent show via bank transfer angry

Synchronizing all bank transactions on a read only basis is something that should be in place by now angryThen we talk about being able to freeze accounts for at least 24 hours, by just pressing a button angry

Don't u think this fraudsters operate with various accounts and can easily move their transactions to other account that has not been blacklisted or open a new account for their nefarious activities.

I still think the banking sectors has a very big task ahead of them to mitigate the activities of this guys.

Day can do more than what we currently have.

If every bank customer has a unique identity on the global banking system, blacklisting the customer would automatically lock up all his accounts worldwide irrespective of the banks the funds are in angry

If he shows up at any bank to open an account or lay complain, he would be picked up by the bank's security operatives (since any banker would clearly see that he is wanted worldwide) angry Same also with trying to take a flight angry

It would never be well with any criminal defrauding others of their money.

When will the society start lynching yahoo boys the way armed robbers and kidnappers are lynched?

Is their crime any less severe that they are rather celebrated?

Life has never been fair. It never will. One person's "unmerited grace" deprives another of a merited reward... And is therefore the other's undeserved ill-fate and desperate call to action. It's a gory merry go round. Nobody can claim a moral high ground.

And then, a fool and his money are soon parted, as the Bible exhorts. We're al fools in one way or the other.

Sorry grandpa, but nothing new here. Many conscientious and hardworking people have had it much, much, much worse in this unfair world. At least you had the luxury of discretion, judgment and choice before losing that money. Scant consolation, but still.
