Am pretty sure osinbajo was just being sarcastic & throwing jabs at adeleke, not like he means to really dance, what surprised me the most is how obi with all his supposed intelligence & credentials took the words literary, this is a guy that wants to be VP woh. Naija politicians are a joke, both APC & PDP, Mr obi just made me see him same as the empty headed politicians out there

A professor at law,
A pastor
A vice president
A father
A human being

Throwing jabs and being sarcastic on a week when hundreds of Nigerians were slaughtered in more than 4 states and he didn't mention it?

This Osimbajo man is heartless.

Nigerians are now seen as cows, while cows are seen as people in this administration. So killing Nigerians is no longer news, but killing cows is. I am Sure osibanjo would not have said that if cows were killed because Buhari won't find it funny.

Channels tv, please do us the favour come January

I too like this man Obi, a man on his own terms.. AkaGum 1 of Anambra smiley

Prof is exceptional too but given that he owes loyalty to the Oga of bourdillion, he's not really a role model for me.

Meanwhile Mr.FulaniHerdsmenAreLibyans is going back to Daura next year!

Inshallah!

I hope all these Atikulatedobi won’t turn to ATI KU late (we done die o) lol. Nigerians think very well. Let’s us open our eyes. Buhari and Atiku not the right choice for Nigeria. Youths let’s think very well. The earlier we think and do the right thing, the best we safe our future. Buhari/Atiku with those old thieves Politician can not move NIgeria forward. Thank you.

Peter at present has nothing to do with Sabmiller! Quit lying in a public forum.

Bro you are ignorant, Peter Obi brought Sabmiller to Nigeria. Obi has created many jobs for Nigerians both in government and private sector, through Fidelity bank, Tecno oil, Next cash & carry, Sabmillar now international brewery, Palm malls and other investments he's part of

When obi was ruling the good governance landscape of Nigeria, nobody knew osibanjo.

On a normal day, you do not compare osbanjo to obi.

Osinbajo is a nobody compared to him. Tinubu picked him from irrelevance.

Obi have contributed far more to the FG even as governor by heading various national economic groups.
He probably knows everything about the FG than osibanjo himself.

Stop smoking the weed, it’s not a good option for u. Must u be relevant before u can take or make impact? Ur level of thinking ehn.....

He employed 3000 teachers as he was about to handover to cause problems for Obiano just like he waited until he was about to handover to conduct his first LGA election. Fraudulent

What happened to the computer graduates employment in 2010, was it also while he was about to hand over?

But the joke is on you here.
If you read his comments he first said he is just coming back to the country and have not read the dailies but he doesn't believe that Osibanjo being a gentleman will make such comment.
Then he dropped the epic shade. Which will apply if Osibanjo did actually make the comment.

So you expect me to believe in this information age where internet I s everywhere, Mr Obi, who wants to be VP, does not even read news from his country for weeks, He travel to Dubai woh, was he in a strip club, even those have signals right?, Some wants to rule but does not give a shyt about whats going in the country, oh well, whatever

My friend tell that to the gullible and not us. Sabmiller first came to the country in 2008 when he bought majority stake in international breweries in Ilesa osun state and later bought standard brewery in Ibadan, subsequently bought Pabod brewery in Port-harcourt. I now wonder how Obi brought sabmiller to the country. I am saying it again “lie kii you there”!

SABMiller Brewery valued at $100 million dollars (N15 billion) would be inaugurated in Anambra, in August, Peter Stuttard, the Business Development Manager of the company said on Friday. According to Stuttard, 22.5 per cent share of the new brewery is owned by indigenous entrepreneurs, which consist of 10 per cent for Anambra State Government, while other private local investors have 12.5 per cent.

Stuttard said that production would commence in September after the opening by President Jonathan.

He said the construction works on the brewery, which is expected to produce beer and malt for a start, had reached 90 percent stage.

The manager said that the decision to site the `gigantic' brewery in Onitsha was borne out of the fact that Onitsha is the biggest commercial city in West Africa.

“Nigeria is a strategic country for any serious-minded company that wants to achieve success in their business endeavour,” he said. “ Any prospective company which has not come to Nigeria could be said not to have arrived Africa and on the other hand, any company that wants to expand its scope cannot afford to neglect Onitsha.

“We are in Nigeria to do good business and we are here to generate employment, create wealth and attend to our corporate social responsibilities to the people and to the communities where we operate.

“All we need is cooperation from the people and as we grow, we grow with them,’’ he said
Stuttard commended Governor Peter Obi for his ability to convince the company to come to Nigeria

“We are not alone in this business, Anambra government and Onitsha people have assisted us a lot in providing land.”

He said that the company would comply with the regulations of agencies such as Standards Organisation of Nigeria, National Agency for Food, Drug Administration and Control and the Nigeria Customs Service for smooth operation of its business.

Hypocrite how many jobs have you created in Nigeria by taking your strategic meeting to Dubai? God knows how much they have wasted in the name of meeting in a foreign land with scarce foreign currency. Didn't they say charity begins at home? Convince yourself first, yeye dey smell.

Peter Obi brought Sab to Nigeria they first acquired a rundown brewery in Port Harcourt in 2009 and then another in Ilesha before it built a brand-new plant in Onitsha in 2012. Peter Obi is Nigeria biggest shareholder, the chairman of international brewery is Obi of Onitsha.

Nigeria, in contrast, is one of SAB’s fastest-growing ventures. Stung by its experience in Kenya, the firm had initially been wary of entering a market where it faced not one but two big incumbents—Guinness, owned by Diageo, and Nigerian Breweries, owned by Heineken, a Dutch giant which also has ambitions to refresh all parts of Africa. This time it was careful to avoid a head-on clash with its rivals. It kept out of Lagos, the country’s commercial capital. (Costs are also higher there.) “We are a regional player,” insists Simon Harvey, head of SAB’s Nigerian businesses. It treats its three breweries there as separate entities. Each has its own brands.

A new beer was developed just for Onitsha. Nigerians like larger-than-life names: the country’s leading brand is called Star; SAB named its beer Hero. Its label features the rising sun, an icon of the local Igbo people. SAB uses such symbolism in other African markets to give its beers a local identity. “People badge themselves with beer,” says Alan Clark, the company’s overall boss. “It has an emotional content.” The firm’s brand in Zambia is Mosi, the local name for Victoria Falls; the label depicts the frothing waterfall. In Tanzania its best-selling beer is Kilimanjaro. Each ale has a distinct taste. Hero is brewed with fewer hops than a European lager. This gives it a less bitter, more refreshing taste that is suitable for a hot climate. It also makes the beer more “sessionable”: people can drink more of it.
A push to make factory-made beer more affordable is an important part of SAB’s strategy on the continent. An average consumer works for 2-6 hours to earn enough to buy half a litre, compared with 17 minutes in America (see chart 2). Hero is priced competitively. A 650ml bottle costs 150 naira ($1), around 25% cheaper than a bottle of Star.

Indeed. We want the competition to be about ideas not rhetoric. About solutions not complaints. How I wish we had a fraction of the parliamentary system and both Atiku and Obi were the tip of the shadow government, debating policy and government actions at every turn.

The authors of the edict proscribing campaigns till the eve of elections are undermining our democracy. We need to lift that anchor inorder to sail into the future. We need constant organised political critique from the day a new government is sworn in till it finishes then we can safely and effectively sift the wheat of performance from the shaft of sentimemt and maladministration.

We need that edict repealed. We can no longer give a free pass to government electees to do as they please for three and a half years unchecked. The so called excuse of political distraction is false. Politicians need to be constantly on their toes, then perhaps they will give more time researching ideas and not practicing dance steps.

The challenges Nigerians are facing is being managed by this administration; focused on creating jobs than has ever been done in the history of Nigeria, social investment programmes and so on
