Educate yourself !

She never accused her ADC of stealing any money from her. The police who are the employers of the ADC, got wind that he has been using her name to defraud people of funds, and duly arrested him for investigation and prosecution.

She has further come out to alert anyone who was defrauded, to go collect their monies from the Fraudster they gave it to.

Continue trying to soil the image of someone who is not a greedy criminal like the false account owning billionaire civil servant.

I present to you the multibillionaire civil servant.

This is the kind of people who long for a return to power for the PDP.

look, let stop deceiving ourselves. As the wife of the president and commander in chief, she even had the capacity to have more. Its only natural as long as she didnt get it from the national treasury. many people will come to lobby for one favor, request or discussion or ther other. many just even want to be associated with the presidency and boast of how they spend to be friends with the President of nigeria. Ofcourse, thats the reward of affluence. She will get contracts without asking because many will try to use her medium carry out dastardly acts without her knowing.

Just recently, we heard of how Aisha arrested her aide because she was scammed of over 2billion naira by the aidewho collected the said sum from lobbyists trying to get her attention or have an audience with her or request her influence over certain issues.

Yussuf that bought bike, am sure he was gifted too but he was stupid with his gift. So thats the life of the presidency. That amount sef is small compared to many other first ladies. Do you know how much aisha collects cos the lobbying in her time alone is way more than Patience time. Billionaires even came to marry her kids, daufhter got a job with NNPC board. they allowance they get alone nko?

Make them free Patience jare.

Old news, or fake news. The money has been unfreeze teytey....PDP AND APC has had there chances, and they show us they have nothing to offer the Nigerians. Why don't we try something different. Ion know when Nigerians way of thinking will change and start seeing things from the perspective it should be. Both PDP and APC are corrupt and they so much prove it to us for several years and they want to continue to prove it.

Meanwhile, it's not like there are not good people out there that are ready to make the real change to Nigeria, buh where would they get the money to buy the presidency form, talkless of the money to do the campaigning stuff. Am afraid to say power will keep surveying from those in power and those at the top if this issue is not dealt with.
Let's do something they did for Obama in his days, we need a voice for the people and all Nigerians will support the fellow with the little we have, I'm vividly sure he will represent us well when he gets to the seat.

After Tinubu, the ln they should unfreeze OBJ, ATIKU, FAYOSE etc.

PDP milked this country dry with bad governance.

I wonder how an educated nigerian will support a first lady having this huge amount of money.

Its a shame

I'm not in support of any bad Government. We should not be biased in our dealings. Most of the PDP you're complaining about are in APC, so what are you saying?

Mrakeli:
Wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, has asked a Federal High Court sitting Lagos to unfreeze her accounts in which $8.4 million and N7.4 billion were domiciled.

The former first lady, through her counsel, yesterday, passionately argued with the trial judge, Justice Mojisola Olatoregun, why the accounts should be released.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had on April 20, 2018, through an ex parte application, obtained an interim forfeiture of the money.

After listening to Mrs. Jonathan’s counsel’s submission, the judge adjourned the case till November 13, 2018 to take video evidence and for the EFCC to explain why the accounts should remain frozen.

The EFCC had in the suit joined Globus Integrated Services Limited, Finchley Top Homes Limited, Am-Pm Global Network Limited, Pagmat Oil and Gas Limited and Magel Resort Limited and Esther Oba as respondents.

When the case was called yesterday, Rotimi Oyedepo appeared for the EFCC, Ifedayo Adedipe (SAN) appeared for the first respondent, Gboyega Oyewole (SAN) appeared for the second respondent, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) appeared for the third to sixth respondents, and Ige Asemudara appeared for the seventh respondent.

After the respondents’ counsel moved their various motions for regularisation of processes, the court asked the applicant to move his motion for final forfeiture.

Oyedepo told the court that the application for final forfeiture was dated May 8, 2018 seeking an order of the court for a final forfeiture of the sums of money listed in the application.

He added that his application with an affidavit deposed to on May 20, 2018 by Orji Chukwuma, an EFCC operative, told the court that he relies on the written averments, as well as exhibits EFCC 12 and 13, in support of his application.

Oyedepo further told the court that he also relies on the written address on the application and urged the court to grant the application for final forfeiture.

However, Adedipe urged the court to refuse the application for final forfeiture on the grounds that there were insufficient facts before the court to warrant a final order.

He argued that the sum of the applicant’s case is that it found monies in the first respondent’s account, which it said were reasonably suspected to be proceeds of unlawful activities.

He argued that the commission neither invited the respondent nor prosecuted her.

Adedipe also submitted that the applicant failed to take the preliminary steps, but sought an order of forfeiture, arguing that such practice fell short of prosecution procedures.
