The University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, UCLES, now Cambridge Assessment, has provided further details on the West African School Certificate, WASC, results presented by Muhammadu Buhari, the candidate of the All Progressives Candidate in the February 14 presidential election.
In a new post on its website, the university confirmed result grades for the examination in 1961 were issued in numbers, not letters, as suggested by critics of Mr. Buhari who have dismissed the results he presented as fabricated.
According to Cambridge, “Examination results were classed in grades from 1 to 9”.
“1, 2,3,4,5 & 6 indicate a Pass with Credit; 7 & 8 indicate a Pass; 9 indicate a Failure,” the school said.
Results tendered by Mr. Buhari shows he had credits in English Language, Geography, Health Science, Hausa Language; failed in Mathematics and Woodwork, and had a pass in Literature in English.
In its post, Cambridge said for candidates to qualify for its certificate in 1961, they needed to pass English, and not necessarily Mathematics.
“To pass the School Certificate, candidates had to pass examinations in a variety of groups. It was compulsory to pass English Language, but not Maths, in order to gain the Certificate,” the university said.
The details followed intense controversy over whether Mr. Buhari, a former Head of State and retired Army General, completed his secondary education.

So,how come WAEC issues 'Attestation Certificate' for an exam they didn't conduct?.
Cambridge Assessment,UCLES that time, existed side by side with WAEC in 1961,same way NECO exist side by side WAEC today.
Can one write NECO today and collect the results/certificate from WAEC?

Buhari doing Abracadabra with Nigerian institutions. He denigrated the judicial system after invading the homes of judges with his secret police to influence justice, he even allowed a certificate forger run Nigeria’s finances for many years, he invaded the National Assembly to turn them into a rubber stamp of the presidency, now he’s also defaming the education system in Nigeria for his personal political ambition.

This same Buhari was ready to have blood flow across Nigeria for his personal political ambition.

This is so so wrong. Nigerians are watching and counting the days until 2019 elections when they’ll have their say.

God bless the good people of Nigeria

WASC Cambridge give birth to Waec.
WAEC was founded in 1952,and conducted certificate exams for other regions except the North, who chose to go with Cambridge.
Try another lie.
You may as well say WAEC gave birth to NECO,and I can go collect WAEC certificate from NECO

God will not stop the flow of your blessings for busting the liars.
Buhari never wrote any Waec in the first place, he must be forced to resign for forgery.

You are the one making a fool of yourself here my friend. A little goggle search would have cured your ignorance about the relationship between WAEC and Cambridge. When the colonial authority started WASC, University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, UCLES was invited to conduct the exams on behalf of the new body. WASC/WAEC understudied Cambridge for a period of years before they took over the conduct of the examination. All records of examinations conducted by Cambridge were transfered to WASC/WAEC. How can you now compare that to Neco and WAEC? Does it make any sense to you?

Your idiocy sure knows no bounds.
Nigeria was already independent,as at 1961 and each region firmly in charge of their local affairs before that.
Yet UCLES conducted certificate exams in the Northern region, till the end of the civil war when Gowon now collapsed everything under one umbrella.Yet,it was WAEC conducting exams for other regions except the North before that.
