Well said I can also said the Engineers. Doctors can't be easy without using the engineering tools. The sophisticated weapons that the soilders are using are made by the engineers. But my take is all profession should be paid same level and this will make life easier for all. What do I mean? Many you see in the medical profession is not because they have the passion for the work but only the pay thats why there are imbalances in the sector.

baba shay you know say the imbalances are functional in the society, aside from the fact that we human beings are greedy and always want more, our skillset is different. You are aiming for a socialist or classless economy where one is given as he can take then what of those that struggled and get excess should they be made to forfeit their excess. Remember man can also be self employed and generating more income than any professional. So as we may have it, its not possible to be equal

Understood - but the point I was making is the very wide definition of who may be called a teacher. You are OK to extend this to kindergarten teachers. How far are you willing to go? Baby sitters nko?

it is not about how far i am willing to go , it is what shouild be reasonable. Ok what if i extend to nanny that should be lower than baby sitters. They are all into child care which is very important because their care is the reason for your child's behaviour and culture which will question your parenting or will appreciate your parenting and it's a responsibility of every parent to teach their children about moral ethics and behaviours etc. So child care is very important because an ugly childhood will produce a beast in the society

you don't need a doctor when a pregnant woman delivers, the nurses are just there to assist the child birth not a must
if you wear rain boots to farm, snakes bite won't penetrate.

You think the teaching profession is easy, you don't know what you are saying, its not easy to impact the knowledge you have to younger ones, no day passes without me coming back home with a migraine, teaching is not easy my dear, they should be the second highest paid profession after doctors.

Nobody denies that it is important. What is at issue is scale of remuneration and needless to say factors such as complexity and degree of expertise should come into consideration. Thus it is unreasonable to say that a nanny should earn as much or more than a neuro surgeon.

in a society that is very honest to herself will know that the most important business is training and developing the young generation . If this is faulty then the future is blank. Though being a nany might not involve rigorous qualification like that of medical personnel( especially a surgeon) but the task involve is as rigid as possible, because it takes enormous patience, sacrifice, perseverance, trial and error. It's like nothing else you've done in your life to that point. Being reponsible for every aspect of another human being is a huge task.


It is about the foundation of human being we are talking about here.
