The OP is very correct.
The drainage of that area and Idi araba needs to be critically looked into.
I was about passing there one morning while it was raining through the idi araba gate, it was hell and hazardous. Infact, i had to turn back .

I pray that tge Government in conjuction with UNILAG Authorities find a lasting solution especially when the rain is clearing off

LUTH is situated in between the slums of Mushin and Idi-Araba, the solution to the problem is for the drainage in Idi-Araba , Idi-Oro, Mushin and Onipanu axis to be fixed which is the function of the Lagos State Ministry of Works and Environment. LUTH periodically runs maintenance of the entrance but there is a limit to how far they can go. The roads can never last because the state government has failed in their own responsibilities and this will continue to affect LUTH environment. The good news now is after so much pressure from various stakeholders and concerned citizens, the Lagos State government commenced a mini rehabilitation of the drainage at the LUTH entrance.
