Anyway, I was wondering how my dog's milk canine teeth was going to be replaced. As in how would she be without her milk canine teeth. So this evening I saw the permanent canine teeth erupting by the side of the milk canine teeth...
I felt a bit amazed seeing how this works in real life
Re: Diary of my lhasa apso puppy, Beverly. by Jackofall: 10:36am On Mar 03
So something revealing happened on Friday. My uncle came to visit, fortunately he likes dogs, so my dog was very playful with him as usual.
He was to sleep in my room where my dog normally sleeps too, just under my bed. So I decided to sleep in another room, leaving my dog with my uncle. I was thinking my dog wouldn't mind having a stranger in his room, but I was wrong.
She started barking at him, even though they have been playing since and had been acquitted with each other. So I decided to take my dog away from his usual room into the different room I was sleeping. She was restless. She couldn't even sleep for once despite the fact that I was there and trying to make her sleep.
She was right next to me, but couldn't sleep even in my presence.
This revealed something important to me about dogs. Dogs thrive on routine, and any sudden change of routine would stress the dog. Even if I was present with her, the dog won't be able to adjust suddenly to the change of sleeping area, even if I'm there with her.
Anyway I ended up going back to my usual room, slept on a duvet on the floor, that was when she finally slept and didn't bark.

Whenever my dog is quiet, I usually go to check on her to be sure she isn't destroying anything of value to me ... Because that's the only thing that makes her quiet and relaxed, when she is chewing on something other than her toys.
My dog has a weird behavior of barking at non-threatening items that are oddly shaped like bunch of plantain, piece of nylon placed at a corner, yam tubers. I am still waiting for the day she will bark at an actual threat E.G a rat challenging her

Lhasa too stubborn. I day play my own with hot slap everyday
Re: Diary of my lhasa apso puppy, Beverly. by etiosa97(m): 1:14pm On Mar 04
Now she's quite fearful and Hardly misbehave
Re: Diary of my lhasa apso puppy, Beverly. by Jackofall: 2:43pm On Mar 04
Very soon the hot slap won't be enough, and you would have to use more aggressive punishment until you finally kill the dog.

But you also have a dog, so I don't know what you are talking about. Just letting you know slapping a dog doesn't achieve anything positive.

Anytime I am brushing and combing my lhasa apso, she always want to get away, as if she is saying "here he goes again with that objects he keeps running in my coat, is he looking for bugs to eat? I don't just get it, LEAVE ME ALONE"
But I can't just leave her until she starts getting tangled, I have to groom her. The best time for grooming her I realise is when she is busy chewing a meaty bone, she doesn't even notice I'm grooming. Aside that it's game on.
How do you get to groom your long haired dog/s?

There is something about Beverly, I noticed she always want to be close to me, not staying away from me for more than 30 minutes.
For instance, anytime I'm entering a particular room, she always run towards me to enter the room too, no matter what she was doing before. Even if she is eating, sleeping or playing, she will leave that thing and rush to follow me into that particular room, it happens all the time.
Anytime I'm sleeping in the morning, she will just be looking at my face waiting for me to wake up. There was a time I woke up and her face was the first thing I saw, she started wagging her tail as I stood up from bed.
Sometimes she will be licking my leg to wake me up, after I wake up, if I don't stand up, she will lay in front of me looking at me, and then be barking once every 10 seconds or so
I will sometimes try to predict when she is about to bark and bark simultaneously with her

Nice read about your dog. Ever since I started following your diary, I've taken an interest to the Lhasa breed and hopefully I'll get one in the future. Please keep the diary going...and with pictures too

OH wow thanks for the feedback. I also enjoyed reading your library on Scofield. By the way I don't upload pictures of Beverly so scammers won't use her pictures to scam others.

Re: Diary of my lhasa apso puppy, Beverly. by Jackofall: 3:59pm On Mar 10
Can you give details of the changes in her behavior, and how did you cut her facial hair?
Re: Diary of my lhasa apso puppy, Beverly. by OsuGanja(m): 7:25pm On Mar 10
Changes in her behavior?? I can tell you she’s a total bitch but it only makes me love her more...She’s a bit fiesty when people are around me,or our space...Her food pattern has also changed too as she doesn’t eat much..Lately,I had to start adding sardines to her food and mash it together, if not she won’t eat at all..About her facial hair ?? Last time I checked I had a groomer give her a nice cut and it wasn’t worth every penny... You can check it out on her page on IG Myawobbly...She’s probably going to get groomed after she has her litter..The picture below was taken in December..See how dope she be looking ...In case you want to get your pup fixed on some nice looks, just check Doggylounge on IG..

Re: Diary of my lhasa apso puppy, Beverly. by Jackofall: 9:40pm On Mar 12
So something very funny happened just now. We were in the parlor watching a movie, I decided to give Beverly a piece of meaty bone. So she was looking for where to stash the meaty bone and found the perfect spot , right inside my sisters pubic area
My sister started laughing and trying to push her away, I told her to let her stash the bone inside her, that it's safe from the rats, she would always go back in her to eat it when she is ready.
Re: Diary of my lhasa apso puppy, Beverly. by Jackofall: 10:55am On Mar 15
Beverly can be a very funny and weird dog at times. So this morning I literarily forced her to eat her food. Despite the fact that I have her wet food(pate), she normally eats dry food. I even added fried pork and some tiny pieces of baked chicken, and she still refused to eat it
How I wish someone can be forcing me to eat good food like that.
anyway she ended up eating it by herself after a little play.
