Engineers on this forum can you please explain to me why Benin Electricity Distribution is load shedding electricity virtually all it's network base?. Some areas get more than others. I was at Agege few months Alhaja one to be precise, they do have 12 electricity, I traveled to Enugu slight improvement, Oshogbo better of, Katsina similar thing but Benin city worst off. BEDC staff on this forum please explain why Benin city is different.
Generator sellers since una non wan make me get light , make una still upgrade na. Can't you request for low noise generators for small and medium size at least the noise pollution will reduced?.

Power generation has increased from 5000MW to 7000MW from 2015 to date, the only problem is the Discos that are failing to upgrade up with the new capacity generation. In terms of Power generation, this government 3 years is better than 16years of PDP.

Today Minister of Power BRF disclosed that the Buhari Administration is currently working on 365 road projects across the 36 States of Nigeria and FCT.

244 of those were inherited from previous administrations (started between 1999 and 2015).

121 were STARTED by the PMB Admin

I have 24 hours electricity in my area crew will soon lash on this thread, even though the electricity situation has never been worse throughout the country like we have it today. The Minister of Darkness seems clearly overwhelmed.

Oga you are a blatant liar; it is obvious that electricity has improved under this administration. There are areas with distribution challenges; no double. The effort to improve power is genuine and given time we shall achieve a much stable power.

Am not surprised at this cooked up lie by Fashola because it is in the Nature of APC to lie. Even Fashola will testify that he is currently using generator or Solar in his house.

I patiently went through every comment looking for the comment from that ZonB guy that roast fishes, who sings this administration praise everyday. I guess he avoided this thread because he too knows this is an overwhelming lie. Lai! Nigerians!! Plenty of us mumu Sha. Which improved light? Una dey mad? No be which day we read say power dey drop below 2k MW Who do us this thing self? As for you minister of darkness, I no blame you at all and I no surprise. All of una dey work hard to beat Lai Mohammed for the Lying game. Continue. Na the angel wey direct come naija I blame.

My dear fashola. ...There is no power supply in major part of agege local government area, lagos state for 15 days now and you are saying power supply has increased .......

I stay close to Penn cinema, and I slept overnight till morning with light. came home by 7pm and met light. Though no light at the moment, unusual in the last one week. Even though not desirable, this is still a marked improvement. Nobody ever said power is now stable with the meager total MW we still generate or distribute.

Even triple the power will not give us all 24/7 light. We have not put in or attract the resources to triple power but some cretins expect to have 24/7 power because we now distribute 5000MW, and the figure is a lie because they have only some hours of light, is that not cognitive dissonance?

Out of 200milions Nigerian I am very sure it only 10% re using dis light am not even saying 24/7 oh

Like 6 hours or their about
And dis man is saying light has improved
How, were, wen, I don't understand.
Many of dem here supporting dis apc and pmb don't ve a business de run or has any expenses de pay for on a daily basis
D apc and pmb supporters u see here re pple who rally round their family for up keep on a daily basis, de don't pay rent, de don't pay light bills, de don't buy fuel so how ll de know if d govt is working or not.
So for me I don't blame dem
And also those who re Muslim like pmb
De don't care how d country is jst because of religion sentiment. I pray wen de out grown der puberty stage de ll know dat dis govt is clueless and has nothing to offer Nigerians.
I don't hate pmb but for sure right from the on set I knew he has nothing to offer

Insult me all u want I ve said my own
God bless Nigeria

He said it improved not stable. If you had three hours light before and now have 6 hour's it's an improvement per English language.
That improvement is what I have personally experienced as we now spend less on petrol at home and consume less diesel at the business location.

Because we track the business cost more, some years back we spend 80 - 120k a month on diesel at 160- 165 a litre, but in the last 18 months the range is 20 - 50k with diesel at 220-240 a litre. Of course we spend more on power recharge card in the last 18 months.
That is our experience, that is an improvement. Anyone willing to do better needs to outline a real solid plan not mere sloganeering.
