Tactics is different from versatile. This isn't an English class but for clarification. Tactics is another word for strategy or method. It is not common to see someone who is skillful without tactics. Hence Okocha is both skillful and has tactics. Meaning he has a strategy of getting over a player with his skill.

By the way, it is out of place to compare Okocha with the new generation of Messi and C. Ronaldo

Okocha is more tactically sound than either Messi or C Ronaldo. You can't also say he's more strategic than them two. Okocha's "method" of getting pass a player can't be more effective if he doesn't have the end product to back it up. Dinho was just as entertaining(even more in my opinion) yet he was more productive than Okocha. Okocha might have had the tricks but his close control at full speed is no where on Messi's level, he can't operate in tight spaces like him as well.
Messi and Cr7 would've survived the old days. Cr7 is one of the most complete(if not the most complete) goal scorer of all time. Ambidextrous, great in the air, fast, strong, great touch...what else do you want from a goal scoring winger that cr7 didn't possess at his peak?
Okocha has talent but abeg make una chill with this hype.
