Debates in Nigeria are useless because many times we’ve seen the winner of a debate losing woefully in elections. The reason is that 99% of voters have already made their mind on their choice. And debates are usually to sway undecided voters.


Na losers dey debate in Nigeria

Since 1999, all the presidents we’ve produced never participated in the presidential debate prior to the election that made them president.

Obasanjo refused to debate with Falae
Yar’Adua didn’t debate with Buhari
Jonathan refused to debate PMB
PMB refused to debate Jonathan

So, if he refuses to debate, you have the choice to keep your votes to yourself or give to someone else.

Buhari’s achievements speak for him already.

Yoruba moslems as usual. Nothing good can ever come out of there except bloodshed and tears and of cource, subserviency to the caliphate

The fact is debates are useless in Nigeria. We have seen many candidates doing excellently well in debates but lost woefully in election. The reason is simple -debates are to sway undecided voters and we have very few of them in Nigeria.

Will PMB taking part in a debate make frustrated and bitter souls like you switch your support for him?

That is not enough to say debates are useless. Rather, we have ignorant electorates that prefer to vote along ethnic and religious lines or go for the highest bidder.

Please don't let Buhari debate o , if the question has not been given to him and answer two weeks before or else , all the answer will be " No idea" meanwhile Buhari will not debate......
